eve is bisexual. she always has been, but she’s never actually been in a full-blown relationship with a woman. she’s had her moments though — mostly during her thing with Rex when threesomes were a way to keep things interesting (or avoid talking about how neither of them were ever really happy).

she also loves to initiate. there is such a rush in being the one to push someone back against a wall, fingers tracing over a pulse point just to feel them shiver. but she’s got this soft spot for letting go too. she will fight it, make you work for it, but when she finally surrenders? phew !!!! trust is hard for her, but the right partner could just simply unravel her ….

as she gets older, the urge to explore what she’s been holding back gets louder and louder. she catches herself staring a second too long, hand lingering in someone’s hair under the guise of casual affection. maybe it’s time to stop pretending she’s content just dipping a toe in.

There is so much sapphic writing to Eve that we need to unpack. Like Amber really changed her to her core; she told Eve to be the change she wants to see in the world... And Eve just does? It changes her whole world view. Amber really becomes the light to Eve's flame and desire to be a hero outside of her powers, and I think there is something so queer about that. Just, please let Eve kiss her.

hiatus notice: baby's birthday trip + 9 yr anniversary! weeee

eve's final form. she is a cosmic being. no mental blocks. she has transcended and goes by Evelyn Prime. is not confined by morals or ethics, she just is. she is a being who exists across all versions of reality simultaneously. she is not a person anymore. she is a principle.

she is a living nebula trapped in a humanoid frame. sometimes appears 6ft, other times the size of a galaxy. the very idea of her causes deja vu, like you've seen her in dreams or forgotten memories.

It's true.  She was bound to come back,  some people leave everything behind without a second thought but Eve, despite the pain, is horribly nostalgic.  ❛ yes, well. you can't outrun your past. i've tried. ❜  Cue a  hiccup, even her superhero body has limits when it comes to alcohol.  The wine is beginning to blur her vision and it occurs to her that she definitely can't fly like this.

❛  among other things.  can't a girl have a mid-life crisis in peace?  ❜ She jokes but her voice is raw with emotion.  It's not that she doesn't want to spill it all out, to give herself some reprieve,  but she's so used to holding it all in. She knows he's seen her at her worst, but this for some reason, feels different. Exposing herself in this way...  Telling Cecil of all people what burdens her seems so... silly.  So silly that it elicits a string of drunken giggles from her.  ❛  god— no.  he was —he was horrible. ❜ The giggles soon turn into broken sobs.  ❛ he was fucking horrible and now he's just fucking dead.  ❜  She throws back the last of her wine, slamming the glass harder than she intends to, glass flying everywhere.  It confuses her for a second, doesn't quite realize that the mess around her is her doing.  A hundred-dollar bill materializes on the table as the glass is reconstructed. All shards gone as if nothing ever happened.  All too familiar, it's basically the story of her life.

Despite the allegations against him in the "he has no heart" department, Cecil always found the way Adam treated his daughter to be a great source of shame. He couldn't imagine being so passively vicious to a child of such extraordinary power, nevermind a child that was supposed to be his. Though his death, in part, probably came as a quiet pang of relief to Eve, he doesn't blame her for having complicated feelings about it. Despite all of the abuse, he was still her dad.

You know what that's like, don't you Cecil?

❛ That why you're throwing wine back like it's your job? ❜ he asks, trying not to draw too much attention to the emotional depth of her situation. He figures that if she wanted to be vulnerable with him she'd have done so already. Pride is one thing, but Cecil has seen her through some of the worst points of her life— including her rocky adoption into the GDA's ranks. She can't hide from him ever again after the ways in which he's witnessed her, nursed her. He thinks she knows that, too. ❛ It was never gonna be fixed between you. But now that he's dead that fact is sinking in for real, huh? ❜

Her comment provokes a short, sardonic chuckle. Eve is smart; she'll know there's more to it regardless of what he says. ❛ Must be all the exercise working for the GDA provides. Thanks for noticing. ❜

having so much fun writing in my older verse for eve. she's fully removed or close to removing her mental blocks and she's basically tapping into the full scope of her powers which is terrifying.

she could create wormholes... make something out of nothing, create new life forms from scratch. rewrite people's memories! create pocket dimensions, collapse a whole planet/stars. she quite literally could play god and who the hell would stop her? (enter cecil)

but her abilities do not come with weaknesses. the more she manipulates, she more she burns out and it's quite possible for her to cause damage to her mind. plus, she still has her morals and ethics to think about and a big theme in eve's story is that just because she can, should she? she fears becoming the monster...
