hopefully this is something, couldn’t really decide whether i wanted these to be post re8 or not. kept it vague so it’s up to interpretation, personally tho i kind of like the idea of ethan inevitably ending up in the village regardless of choosing the bad ending to re7. either way he's getting bullied by visions of a girl with mommy issues

ok thank you to that one artist for the fic rec in my dms i appreciate it so much.

that made me think though… does anyone else have any good fic recs?

i guess i should list what i like?? i’ve been trying to branch out and read random shit. i usually reread my partner’s fics but i want to give myself a cooldown so when i do reread them, it feels more fresh. my favorite fic that isn’t by them is a Chris Redfield x Ethan Winters one, where it’s an AU so it’s really not at all their character personalities but i loved it so much because it genuinely read like a psychological thriller.

i’m not into smut without plot, or like… insane amounts of smut?? i do like smut and romance in fics but the smut can NOT be the main focus of the fic. i need good plot, and the relationship has got to be a little or a lot unhealthy.

the two main ships i refuse to read about (at least as the center ships) are Albert Wesker x Leon Kennedy and Albert Wesker x Chris Redfield. i’ll be honest and say that tumblr has ruined me liking wesker x kennedy. i do admire weskerfield because it has a ton of potential and i really like seeing people’s creative pieces on it, it’s just not a ship i want to read about!!

but UHHH… i dunno. ethan winters is my main guy. i also like albert wesker, william birkin, and claire redfield. i like leon x chris and ada x claire too… uhhh?? ahhh!! anything. i’ll even read rarepairs.

i also don’t often read m/f ships but if anyone has Valenfield (Chris x Jill) recs i’ll go crazy. most m/m and f/f ships are fine with me though.

notes: i don’t read incest, rape, pedophilia, probably some other weird things i’m missing. no thank you. you do you and i’ll do me so keep these recommendations away from me, thanks!
