I let them rest a bit.
While I fight the demons of actually rendering and actually finishing a piece.
Did a little emote of Nero, recreating the pose I hit whenever I literally just look at any dmc character. (I needed it, so I can have a personalized sticker and to abuse the instagram sticker creator, a genuinely very great addition to chatting. I’m so tired of people talking about Dante like he’s this morally dubious guy who doesn’t care about humanity or innocent people suffering. Like there’s plenty of morally dubious characters in DMC but he isn’t one of them.
Dante is described in the following ways by characters and even devs:
-Having a gentle heart.
-Having a gentle soul.
-A kind devil.
-Having nothing but kindness in his eyes for humans
-Says he became a hunter because he hates seeing innocent people get hurt.
-Fights on the side of justice.
-The most noble of souls.
Bro is the biggest goodie two shoes imaginable. He just doesn’t see himself that way because he blames himself for tragedies like Nell’s death.
#dante summarized in one phrase would be#that he would never justify the means for any end#he is not willing to cause senseless harm to innocents#he puts everyone else before him#and he is not selfish#back in the day i saw publications calling him “an anti hero”... honestly comical#the only questionable thing he's done in any of the games was killing sanctus in front of the people of fortuna#but it was for plot reasons lol#dante#AGAIN.... NO ONE KNOWS HIM!!!! MEN WOULD NEVER UNDERSTAND DANTE
