Oh, what if in world states where Gaspard is exiled (or just alive) that he marries Anora as a way to attempt to conquer Orlais again?
So the timeline of Dragon Age is making me very worried - at least for the Origins heroes.
The blight began in Dragon 9:30.
Veilguard is taking place roughly Dragon 9:53.
Wardens typically get maybe 30 years of reprieve before their Calling.
Ferelden does not seem to have an heir in any choice - at least up to Inquisition. Anora has no children, Alistair has no children (I’m excluding Kieran because he may not exist or be his in every world state). That’s a big problem for them.
It really looks bad for our Origins heroes and world states. All of the work that was done to save that land, and it looks like it may have all been for naught.
And for the succession crisis, who could they even put in place as an heir? Teagan? He’s like the only true name we have left. Otherwise, it looks like Orlais could easily be knocking on their doors once more.
Please no spoilers from Veilguard.

I made carnitas tacos for dinner tonight. My husband was “dreading” dinner because it was not how he thinks of tacos. (The recipe called for guacamole, pickled red onions, diced white onion, and jalapeños.)
He has since rescinded his dread, as it was “really fucking good”.
And then we had to remind the 4 year old that he cannot say fucking.

Regarding Anora, there has been heavy rumors that she may be infertile. She and Calian were married for some time before he died - and her lack of children was cited. Then, there is the fact that in world states that she was ruling alone - it feels implied that she is unmarried and childless still.
We know the country will choose a new leader via the Landsmeet, but is there anyone who would be able to fully rally support since it’s been such a short time since the Blight?

Art for From the Practice Field by the amazing greendelle
I love all the little details that she managed to get included in this, especially the tiny bit of snow melting between their hands.
Absolutely love this. Words, I cannot, at the moment.
Thank you, ever so much, Greendelle.
This moment between Cullen & Nicole is just perfect.

reblog if you believe fanfics are as valid as books that were published and sold by authors who write as their main careers. I'm trying to prove a point

What is one skill your Rook has that will likely not be an option to show in game? Are they a cook? A painter? A dancer? Let’s hear about something that sets your Rook apart from others.
Again, no spoilers please.

Me: 42 days to Veilguard!! I’m so excited and can’t wait for BioWare’s newest game. I love them!
Also me: Who is the sick sadist that ramping up the marketing for the game when I still have to wait six weeks!?!? I hate you, BioWare. *cries into forever*

Dragon Age Confessions: What I’ve done in Each Game that Haunts Me
Origins: I have poisoned the Ashes and kept it canon for a playthrough (Revolution is Not Kind but Runa is just a spiteful bitch who hates the Chantry. This isn’t a comment on revolution. It just fit her personality).
I have also killed all the elves and let the werewolves be free. This is not canon to anything. I just was doing a ‘evil’ playthrough for fun.
DA2: Made Feynriel Tranquil in the Fade. It fucking hurt but it fit Teddy that she panicked and did it without thinking. :/
Inquisition: Killed the chargers. This was for With Bloody Hands where Gloria Treveylan decided she liked the idea of having the Qun be allies.

"It's just a refresher run," I say to myself. "The world state won't even import in Veilguard. I'll focus on the companion quests and the main story."
Days later, through gritted teeth, I accept the reward for the miner's ring. My inventory is drowning in drakestone and ring velvet. I'm sobbing as I climb cliffs to collect shards. There is no escape.

I really like the Temple of Sacred Ashes. The puzzles were fun, but the scene where spirits embody one of your loved ones and talks to you? It has stuck with me for years.
What is your favorite Dragon Age Origins questline?

In Veilguard, if you could have any one character return as a character, who would it be? The character must not be a former PC, or romanceable. Confirmed cameos need not apply. (Please no actual spoilers.)
