Emanuel "Manny" Steward (July 7, 1944 – October 25, 2012) He was also called the Godfather of Detroit Boxing. Steward trained 41 world champion fighters throughout his career, most notably Thomas Hearns,through the famous Detroit Kronk Gym and later heavyweights Lennox Lewis and Wladimir Klitschko. Emanuel trained over two dozen boxers who turned out to be champions in the course of his career. Joe Torre born July 18, 1940 Brooklyn, New York 🗽 Torre ranks fifth all-time in MLB history with 2,326 wins as a manager. With 2,342 hits during his playing career, Torre is the only major leaguer to achieve both 2,000 hits as a player and 2,000 wins as a manager. From 1996 to 2007, he was the manager of the New York Yankees and guided the team to six pennants and four World Series championships. Coaches Corner Chuck Noll (January 5, 1932 – June 13, 2014) Regarded as one of the greatest head coaches of all time, his sole head coaching position was for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL) from 1969 to 1991. When Noll retired after 23 years, only three other head coaches in NFL history had longer tenures with one team. Talk about loyalty 🤝🫡 🧠Personality: A quiet man, never felt the need to shout. He never rallied his team with grandiose pep talks. He discouraged flamboyant demonstrations on the field.
