My sister keeps telling me that women have good instincts. However, I’ve discovered that when you have moderate to severe anxiety and get paranoid with every anxiety attack it’s pretty hard to tell when I’m being anxious for no reason and when my “danger Will Robinson, danger” instincts are going off for a legitimate reason

For example: There is a pretty decent lightning storm going on. Is it reasonable for me to force myself to stay awake until it’s over so I can make sure lightening doesn’t strike my house and set it on fire? Or is that anxiety
