I have a mama GP and two (grown-up) babies. A whole bunch of mamas came into the rescue as a big group, and started dropping babies before the shelter could sort them out. I fostered them from when the babies were about two weeks old. There is no guarantee Tippi and Maeve are actually Bo's bio daughters, but she looked after them just the same. Daddy and Uncle pigs also take good care of youngsters, no matter whose they are. It's one of my favourite things about GPs, and it seems Capys are the same.

I like rabbits more as they bond strongly and are so soft and pretty.

But others like guinea pigs for the cheerful noises and gentle nature.

This reminds me of the Frog and Toad where Toad is worried about how he looks in his swimsuit, and when he gets out of the water, the other creatures laugh at him. Child me (and adult me, who am I kidding) always struggled with the pathos of that story, so I’m pleased to see an amphibian out-and-proud in stripes
