This wouldn't be the issue if it was the first time. It's happened at least three times before, and ever single time I end up no better than a brand new account because no one follows me, no one talks to me, or anything, all because someone who is better at promoting their account is proclaiming themselves as THE Hojo. Within a day or two, everyone stops RPing with me. Then, within a month, the new Hojo RPer is gone! poof! Completely inactive.

Every single time.

It's not that I want to be the only Hojo. Not at all. I want to have a Hojo for my Jenova to RP with. That would be wonderful. Even though none of them make a half-assed attempt to talk to Jenova before they burn out and deactivate. (Really, why would Hojo want to have anything to do with Jenova?)

This isn't about any one person. It's about a fucking trend that won't fucking stop.

I’ve been planning on this for a while really, to open my Hojo blog. When I got sick I had the time. I’m sorry it was so inopportune, but I’ve been cooped in a hospital for for a few days for the last three weeks. I’ve had the URL for about two weeks, I’ve been tying to set it up every day that I sat in that chair at health services being yelled at by my doctors for over working myself. 

Well, then I apologize.

((Jesus Christ, really? So she has a Hojo too, so what? Who cares when she made it? You’re both still really good. ((Dude, do you know how many Kadaj’s there are on Facebook? I mean, new ones don’t pop up every single day, but at the same time, new Hojo’s don’t either. Everyone plays him differently, this goes for all characters. It feels really, really intimidating at first, but just because someone rp’s with another Hojo, or I’m my case, another Kadaj, doesn’t mean they like yours any less. I rp with two amazing Vincent’s. There used to be two awesome Seph’s (plus mine, LOL.) I’ve rp’d with other Kadaj’s before, I have two favorite Genesis-es. I know a Stein that’s married to another Stein; I know a Saix that was with another Saix. And the thing is, they were played in like…virtually opposite ways (especially the Genesis-es. They were almost polar opposite, but they were both really IC. It sounds weird, but…yeah) Play him the way you interpret him, because it’s not going to be the same as anyone else…))

I haven’t expected him to follow me. He has his passion elsewhere— mostly it lies beneath the SHINRA’s mansion, buried beneath layers after layers of documents, test tubes and assorts of samplings. Thus it naturally comes as a surprise...

Not unusual, and expected. A call in the middle of the night has became a routine. "That one." My gaze moves past him, the wolf, the strange rising number of monster within this area, those are among many he has kept in check. "The president also wish for that report on Jenova." A Cetra, Gast has believe her to be. It's a new discoveries he's so excited about.

Hojo pulled out the two folders and handed them over to the Turk. "I trust you can get those to him without interference? They're confidential." Hojo turned back to work on the file on his desk, clearly labeled JENOVA and much thicker. "If that's all you need, I would like to get back to work."

“What kind of experiments?” Ienzo asked, not deterred at all by the  scientist. If anything, he was even  more intrigued. Especially if they were like  the experimetns at Radiant Castle. “I’m a scientist too, you know,” the boy told him. 

"The kind some people don't live through." Hojo sighed, giving up. "A scientist, at your age?"

The boy tilted his head slightly, deep blue eyes almost impassive and yet brimming with immense curiosity. How curious this all was…”Hello, I’m Ienzo,” he bowed his head in greeting. The child was raised to be polite, after all, and he would treat any new person as such. 

“Professor Hojo.” The man frowned. “Do you have someone to watch over you?”

“It is a pleasure to meet you,  Professor Hojo,” the boy replied before continuing to answer the question. “Lord Ansem or the apprentices normally watch me, but as they are fully grown, that gives them more responsibilities. Regrettably, it leaves me to my own  devices for  much of the day, but it’s something one gets used to fast enough,”  the child shrugged. He was used to being on his own a lot now.

So much like my boy. “You shouldn’t be wandering the city alone. Go home.”

“But there isn’t anything to do at home,” he countered. “I’ll just wind up going outside again anyway,” Ienzo  told him. “What are you a professor  of?”  he asked, quickly changing the subject.

“You don’t want to know. Go home.”

“That’s a bit presumptuous to think that I wouldn’t want to know. I actually find learning new things very interesting,” the boy nodded, smoothing out his labcoat. He wasn’t an  apprentice for nothing, after all.
