How do I have a good Ramadan and encourage a good environment in my home when my parents and siblings ruin it ever year. There is no peace. They can’t stop fighting over stupid things which then spirals into full blown dysfunction. even for 30 days. I’ve started eating iftar alone again because it’s bad vibes. I’ve told them so many times and begged them to have at least one good year.
May Allah reward you for your efforts…
I want you to change your perspective InshaAllah - this could be a test for you, opening your iftar alone will only leave a bad impression of Islam to your family. Remember you are an ambassador representing Islam.
Maybe your family members are not on the level of understanding the dean so you need to have Sabr…continue to do your best, how did Allah instruct Musa (as) to speak to Pharaoh who was the worst of creations - he said speak softly…so this further emphasises how we should converse with our family members.
Try speaking to your family members 1-2-1 and it may take sometime for them to reciprocate but like I mentioned before, this is a test for you so you need to be patient InshaAllah.
Most importantly make lots of dua that Allah softens their heart.
In the moment of chaos try to be calm, make lots of Istighfar with lots of dua and InshaAllah you will have a peaceful Ramadan…

How does one remain hopeful about marriage and finding their person when it’s hard to be hopeful because of how things have been playing out for years. The purpose of life isn’t to marry but I yearn for companionship..
What do you mean about “how things have been playing out for years”?
Remember life will always be difficult, but what’s rather important is working yourself! Become that righteous person and InshaAllah you will be granted with a righteous spouse.
I also feel that your Wali has his responsibility to look out for a spouse for you - if you’re ready for marriage then speak with your parents who could keep an eye out for you.
Makes lots of dua and work on yourself for the time being :)

BarakAllahu Feeki! Yes you are right good points, Allahuma Ameen…
Some helpful tips as we enter this blessed month (please share if you find beneficial):
1. Begin with *sincere intentions*: Start each day of Ramadan with a clear intention to fast solely for the sake of Allah, seeking spiritual growth and closeness to Him through this act of worship.
2. *Write up a plan and establish a consistent routine*: We make a plan for every endeavour in life, the same should also be for Ramadan. Write a list of how much dhikr you want to do everyday, how many pages of quran you want to read, how many optional prayers you want to perform and stick to it.
3. Drink plenty of water between Iftar and Suhoor, and *avoid excessive caffeine and sugary drinks that can lead to dehydration.*
4. *Charity and kindness*: Embrace the spirit of giving by engaging in charitable acts, such as donating to those in need, volunteering, and showing kindness and compassion to others.
5. Self-reflection and *repentance*: Take advantage of the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan to engage in self-reflection, introspection, and seeking forgiveness for past mistakes. Use this opportunity to strengthen your relationship with Allah and strive for self-improvement.
May Allah make this a successful ramadan for us, shower his blessings on us, accept our good deeds and repentance and make us leave Ramadan more closer to him than when we entered this blessed month. Ameen
