Faerie folks must be really frustrated with Gen Z right about now. Like, none of their old tricks really work when you think about it. Can’t steal ya name cause you’d hit them with Ligma or something. Like, imagine some centuries old Fae in the woods trying to steal the name of a child and they just:

Fae: Oh hello young traveler, are you lost? What’s your name?

Gen Z kid: Joe

Fae: HAHA! You fool! You have fallen right into my trap, for you see Joe-

Gen Z kid: JOE MAMA! GOTTIE!

On the flip side of this, do people sometimes mistake vampires as just people with depression? They stay inside during the day, don’t eat “food”, and sleep at odd hours. Movies and shows portray all this as cool and mysterious, but in real life if someone you know just stopped going outside during the day and wasn’t eating, vampirism would not be your first though, that’s all I'm saying.

Friend: “Hey Kyle, just checking in to see how you’re doing man. Haven’t seen you out as much lately.”

New Vampire: “Oh, okay. Yeah sorry about that. I’m doing fine. Just some changes in my life I’m getting used to.”

Friend: “Alright, but hey, I’m here for you if you need anything. Just let me know. Everyone else is too, so don’t feel like you can’t talk to anyone, okay? Where all here if you need us.”

New Vampire: “...okay?”

Anyone ever wonder how vampires don’t have depression? Like, I’m sure after a while it must begin to suck that you live forever and still aren’t necessarily accomplishing everything you’ve ever wanted to do, and on top of that you can’t go out during the day. 

“Oh but if you are a night owl it would be great, getting to go out to clubs and parties all night long!” Man shut up. I like a good late night outing as much as the next person but those things get old after a while, and then what? There are only so many night time activities you can do. After a while you’d end up feeling at least some kind of regret for your existence and start missing the things you used to be able to do, right?

I feel like this is like a time capsule and years from now some poor great grandchild is gonna be looking at this and have no fucking idea what’s going on. What if the reason why Sherlock didn’t come visit wasn't because he was busy, but because he was on drugs? Sherlock in literature was a known to use morphine and cocaine, so maybe he didn't want his mother and baby sister to see him drugged up like that. It was noted that only recently he had begun to build up an impressive reputation as a famous detective, so maybe only recently he got clean? It would explain why he would be so vague about his reasons for not going home when he spoke to Enola.

to those in charge of making those infuriating game ads that show someone messing up the most simple of tasks in the game with the caption “ONLY 1% OF PEOPLE MAKE IT PAST LEVEL 2! 😱😱😱😱” or some bs like that, I say to you this: may you be cursed to forever view those same ads in life and in death, may you weep at what you have made and what you have forced generations to come to endure as the new norm of advertisment. there has not been nor will there ever be a moment in time where those ads make anyone want to play your sorry excuse for a mobile game. Maybe try to make a decent ad and a decent game for once if you want people to play it.
