We know where kudzu originated from but it has taken over the US in parts and is very much part covering over small towns. We’d love to see info where using this is problematic.

Additionally, two staff members are trans and we strive to protect them from terfism, so we’re happy to see proof of it so we may address it.

The rest we are working on investigating, and there’s no need to drag another rp into it that has been nothing but friendly.

took a look at Stillwater, right off the bat they’re using wendigos/skinwalkers on their ads, kudzu as a horror prop in a US city instead of its place of origin (i can tell the staff is white and murrican just from this, god forbid they make a proper asian-centric rp). their member base is made out of the sewer remains of the rpc’s terfs and sashagate apologist theodoras (no, we didn’t forget you publicly defended sasha back in the day), and aotu’s shit clique. surprised there are no ng faces.

Weirdness here is older than the town itself. Older than the gold rush of the 1830s, which brought prospectors and grave robbers alike. Older than the feldspar mine, which opened in 1940s and closed abruptly just two decades later. The official story blamed wartime shortages. The locals say something different. Some claim they uncovered something deep beneath the earth, some claim there was nothing to mine and the earth below was a corpse. There are about as many theories as there are people in the town. 

Even now, no one goes near the Feldspar Mine #2. The old Hatcher House (referred to by locals as the Hacker House) sits rotting in a grove of dying trees, always shaded no matter the sun. The Northside Crossings strip mall built in the 80s, abandoned in the 90s, doesn’t appear on any current map. Kudzu overtakes the rest of Stillwater like it's alive, but around those three sites? Nothing grows. Not even moss. Time moves funny in those places. Sometimes people step in and don’t come back out. Sometimes they come back... off.

Now, the strangeness is spreading. 

People are vanishing. Dreams are leaking into real life. The air feels different in certain parts of town. 

Stillwater is growing, but something inside it is waking up.

You’ve come here for work, for refuge, for reasons you haven’t told anyone. Maybe you’re supernatural, maybe you’re not, but something has called you to this place. And whether you believe in fate, coincidence, or something darker, it won’t take long to realize: this town is not what it seems.

Welcome to Stillwater. The kudzu grows fast around here.

Stillwater, Georgia was a dying community three years ago. 

The gold lining the riverbeds was long gone, dried up following the heyday of dredging and panning, and the feldspar mine was sealed and sat abandoned since the 1960s. Kudzu crept across cracked sidewalks and empty homes, swallowing buildings all over town. Main Street was mostly shuttered. Stubborn locals remained, but most had either moved on or vanished without a trace.

Then, the government stepped in. In a sweeping initiative to provide sanctuary for non-human citizens, Stillwater became one of the first towns selected for the grant program Supernatural Urban Planning & Expansion (S.U.P.E): a national effort to turn crumbling towns into "blended communities." With federal funding, new infrastructure, and incentives for both humans and nonhumans, Stillwater was reborn. Roads are being repaired, old businesses are being revived alongside new endeavors, and new people are filling the town. 

Now, it's called a miracle. A symbol of progress. Humans and non-humans living side by side, working, voting, and raising families together. 

On paper, it’s a utopia.

In practice, it’s Stillwater. 

So what happens when an influx of magic arrives to a dormant small town? I guess we’ll see…
