Cetacean stranding. The phenomenon in which whales and dolphins strand themselves on a beach. I saw a beached whale last night while walking along the beach to capture this picture and to me it just serves as a reminder that we do not know everything there is to know. Nature has its beauty and its mysteries and I will forever be in awe of it. *Obviously I will not share any photographs, because there's simply no good in sharing pictures of a dead animal (unless it is used to raise awareness). — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/2HjCBJ6

It's been a while since I've posted anything on here, in the meantime I've left Korea (sniff sniff), but it's good to be back with family in South Africa. I've been turning into a night owl gradually (maybe it's subliminal messages from the owl that's always lurking in the trees outside my house, who knows), and so I haven't really taken any pictures whatsoever until I finally had an opportunity today.
