Why/How i regress?

»I regress due trauma and stress

Most of the time i slip into my little space because something around me makes me feel small and childish, or a stressful situation, in these cases I just hug a stuffed animal and comfort myself

»i regress to the age of 4 or 8

I always go non verbal every time i regress don't matter the reason why i regressed, and I'm always kind of aware when that happens never getting 100 percent into my little space, only when I regress from stress and I feel numb and I can't do much

Age regression isn’t just aesthetic moodboards and happily watching a children’s show. Sometimes it’s going nonverbal due to involuntary regressing back to a toddler while frightened. Sometimes it’s involuntarily regressing at the worse possible time - like at work or in the supermarket.
