They asked Lewis in the Merc press conference about his fan's behaviour towards George, and he claimed he "wasn't aware George was experiencing any negativity"

Now, you can argue he's not responsible for his fan's behaviour, and therefore he's not answerable to it, but this has been going on for 2 years now, his best friend has actively participated in it... I genuinely do not buy that he has had absolutely no idea that any of this has been going on until a journalist brought it up to him today...

And I'm in two minds as to whether bringing it up is going to achieve anything, except probably make the situation worse, but I am kinda glad it has been raised because there's no place for any of it in F1.

Honestly Merc should appeal that penalty. The FIA doc is worded in such a strange way and the general consensus from most drivers is that it wasn’t a pen.

Like was it a pen just for the sake of it? Did they think that it could help the racing? Did George say something to piss of the FIA again?
