Ella es Natalia, por cierto, nuestra directora de arte. Tiene una gran voz y siempre dice las cosas correctas.

Everything’s coming together. We went shopping to get our production design ready. There are lots of blues and lots of work to be done.

She's Natalia, btw, our production designer. She has a great voice and always has the right things to say.

Soy Thelma, la productora de este increíble proyecto. Me emociona de sobremanera la idea que estamos desarrollando, me emociona su rodaje, me emociona el resultado, me emociona el significado que tiene para cada uno de nosotros.

Solo quiero externar las expectativas inmensas que tengo en "Fábrica de Sueños"; estoy agradecida que trabajar con un crew que además de ser mis colegas son mis amigos.

I'm Thelma, the producer of this incredible project. I must say that I am very excited with idea we are developing, I'm excited with the filming, I'm excited with the outcome, I'm excited about the meaning that it has for each of us.

Shit got real

Estas fotos fueron tomadas el viernes 7 de marzo mientras comenzaba la primera junta de preproducción. Creo que es la primera vez que nos sentamos a discutir una historia con esta profundidad, y definitivamente no hay nada más confortante. Estamos haciendo un cortometraje.

Fábrica de sueños es la adaptación de un texto escrito por origamidepalabras, uno de los seres más ingeniosos que conozco. Originalmente titulado Ana Layevska y Valentino Lanús, ésta es la historia de unos amigos que gracias a las telenovelas se encontraron el uno al otro en su estado más vulnerable, y años después ese recuerdo regresa para que ambos encaren la realidad.

These pictures were taken on Friday March 6th while our first pre-production meeting took place. I believe this is the first time we had sat down to discuss a story so profoundly, and I can tell you there’s no greater feeling than that. We’re making a short film.

Fábrica de sueños (Dream Factory) is an adaptation of a monologue written by origamidepalabras, one of the most ingenious individuals I’ve ever met. The original title is Ana Layevska and Valentino Lanús and tells the story of two boys that found each other at their most vulnerable by watching telenovelas. Years later that memory comes back so they have to face reality.
