I disappeared for a while. My brain did that annoying thing where I completely switched up what I was consuming media wise. I haven’t really been reading because I simply don’t have the motivation to do so. but I HAVE been playing Genshin and ffxiv a ton, watching this seasons anime a little, watching the last of us (last episode left me in *shambles*), and about a week ago I finally caved and gave Stray Kids a listen(after seeing them on my tiktok a lot lately). And now I’m so addicted it’s a problem. I know myself, I know how my obsessive personality works which is why I always said I’d never get into kpop. But here I am, madly in love with Stray Kids and watching every single piece of content about them I can.

I saw quite a few negative reviews on Sorrow and Starlight even though overall it’s got great ratings. I’m just confused with what I’ve seen some people say. Tbf I’m not done yet, I’m only on page 217 out of 761, but most of the complaints I’ve seen were about it being so much filler and unnecessary stuff and too many POV chapters. I adore all the different POV stuff, it gives me so much extra insight and I like to know EVERYTHING. and nothing has really felt like filler. They’re making plans, things ARE happening. Hopefully by the end of the book I feel the same way. I typically pay no mind to negative reviews anyways, because I often don’t agree with them. I’m easy to please with my stories 🤷‍♀️😂

I finished Heartless Sky. I…. I get why they named it that. Fucking hell my heart hurts. That was… painful. I have the 8th book sitting right here in front of me but I think I’m gonna need a day or so before I start it. Give me time to breathe a little.

Orion and Caleb getting this blood bond thing between them after sealing the rift is something I didn’t know I needed. I can’t wait for the others to realize it 🤣

You know how in a lot of series there might be that one character that is off, weird, or annoying but then later on in the series you go, “you know what, I like this one. They’re pretty great after all.” But then sometimes they do not get any better. Ever. And every time the appear you can only sigh, or scrunch your nose up in annoyance. That’s Washer 100%. Has me rolling my eyes anytime he pops up to be a little perv.

Not me going in to read Haunting Adeline just for the smut but then actually getting an interesting story from it too. and of course it ended on a cliff hanger 😩 I think my two friends and I are gonna get together with some wine to read the second book soon.

I really really fucking hope Darcy and Tory do good in the rest of this battle. Since they are refusing to follow Darius’s orders, and I want him to see what they can do. If they fuck up I know he’s just gonna pull a “I told you so” and I don’t need to hear that shit

Aaaand I’m done with acomaf. Wow the ending of that was a lot. I said it once, I’ll say it again- I love Rhysand. That’s no surprise, I already knew people loved him. But now I know why. It’ll be several days before I get into the next book. Currently reading Haunting Adeline and then Hunting Adeline. I have ordered physical copies of acowar and acofas, and also zodiac academy 8. And I have to finish reading zodiac academy 7 since I put it on hold because I was getting anxious something bad was gonna happen and I can’t deal with any of them dying 😫

I fucking knew Rhysand was gonna appear to collect on the wedding day lmao what an ass. I love it. Though tbf I’m thinking it’s a good thing, considering Feyre was about to go into a full breakdown.

I swapped from audio book to just reading aaaand I’m done with acotar! Pretty good start to the series I think. I won’t say I’m in love with it but I like it well enough so far. Booktok surprisingly hasn’t really spoiled me on the series even though I’ve seen handfuls of people talk about it before.

The only thing I’m wary of is Tamlin.. I think. I’m pretty sure I remember someone saying someone betrays us(feyre, the readers). And I think I remember hearing Tamlin. But I’m not positive. So I like him so far but I’m wary and guarding my heart because I’m a baby and will cry 🙂 I still really like Rhysand, and I love Lucien too. As a main character I do like Feyre quite a lot. She didn’t really annoy me or make me wanna scream “what tf are you doing?!” So that’s good lol. I’m pretty interested to see where this series goes. With Amaranth dead, what will happen now. We still have the kings plans to take over the mortal realm, and how will he react to Amaranth’s death. If she’s actually truly dead. I’m always a skeptic. Well on to the next book I go, I have free time at work today so I’m gonna squeeze in what reading I can do.
