Friends and fellow fairytale creatures!!! I haven't forgotten about this account, I promise! Apart from awaiting a Knight's fervent rescue, I moved this year (which was more traumatizing than Fiona realizing she had to look down to accept Farquaad's proposal) and I'm in the middle of revamping all of my blogs at the moment, so they're all undergoing a bit of a Sleeping Beauty Sabbatical.

The being said, I'm in such a Fiona/Far Far Away mood (it always strikes at this time of year, for some reason or other); apart from rewatching the films and potentially making gifs, I'd love to find fellow stans to engage with about the universe! Fiona is one of my more rare muses, and while I have a ton drafted for her, I don't have a community on here anymore to exchange thoughts with. I'd love to catch up about the news of Shrek 5, talk headcanons, and exchange thoughts!! A piece that really resonates. I don’t really like Shrek (sequels) but I do appreciate this piece.

It'd be funny if Fiona passes the time by underlining and circling different plot elements of fairytales that she likes and wishes into existence for her own life from the books she has in her tower. It almost reminds me of actresses receiving scripts and marking the parts they do and don't like for further revisions while they're in production for a film. I should keep a running list of all the things Fiona actively hates and what she'd love. It goes without saying that she's fanatic about anything revolving around validation, beauty, true love, the kiss of true love, and the sense of an everlasting nature- whether that be in beauty, romance, love.

Thought, learning and intellect headcanon asks for muses

[MENTAL CHATTER] Does your character have an ongoing inner monologue, or do they more frequently think wordlessly/in abstract?

[ENTANGLED] Does your muse experience synaesthesia? (eg. tasting sounds, or seeing colours in music) If yes, does this have any effect on their creativity or understanding of certain senses?

[ALOUD] Does your character subvocalise (sound out words in their head) when reading silently to themselves, or no? When reading fiction, do they “hear” individual voices for each speaking character?

[WPM] How quickly can your character type, read or write?

[MOTHER TONGUE] For bilingual muses: does your character think in one particular language more than another? Are there certain topics or themes that they may be more likely to switch to another?

[FOCUS] How well can your muse focus on their own thinking or study in the presence of distracting background stimuli (loud environments, background chatter, visual clutter…)

[OFF TRACK] Is your muse prone to letting their mind wander? To their detriment?

[INTEREST] Does your muse find it hard to learn about or remember details of subjects that don’t captivate their personal interest? Even if they might be useful or advantageous to know?

[AHAH!] Is your muse good at recognising patterns and putting information together to recognise correlations or solutions quickly? Or do they need others to spell things out to them?

[SEEING RED] How easily is your muse’s judgement or perception swayed by their emotions and state of mind? Are they most always cool and level-headed, or are they prone to rashness or switching stances quickly?

[JUMP THE GUN] What biases does your muse hold that impact how they perceive the world or choose to take in new information? Do their personal blindspots and preconceptions lead them to errors in judgement?

Looking around to see if anyone also writes any fairytale characters, or fantasy muses in any capacity, that they could see interacting with Fiona? Anything centric around fairytale lore would obviously fit so easily into her world, but I'd even love to interact with people from different fandoms- like The Witcher, so long as their mun and I can plot a connection between our two muses!
