Proof Boruto could’ve still become canon if SasuKarin and NaruSaku was endgame:

Naruto Shippuden comes to an emotional end with Sasuke and Naruto laying on the rock with their arms blown to smithereens. Sakura approaches with a crippled, exhausted Kakashi, as she heals them to the best of her skills, shedding tears in the process. Naruto apologizes directly after Sasuke, to which she accepts calmly, then quickly telling them both to shut up.

Fast forward twelve years:

Naruto Uzumaki eagerly sits behind the hokage office desk, accompanied by Shikamaru Nara and Mirai Sarutobi. Naruto accepts his cloak and hat of being appointed the Seventh Hokage by Kakashi Hatake (who can’t fucking wait to get the hell out of there) with his close comrades congratulating him, all of them shaking his hand before he descends down to greet the villagers as Hokage.

Sakura Haruno-Uzumaki awaits by her newly opened hospital, in the company of Shizune and mostly sober Lady Tsnuade. As Naruto passes through the village waving, she can’t help but blush. Crossing her arms with a smile, she reminisces about the days when she would call Naruto an idiot, shaking her head at the thought of thinking she would be married to him now. Leaning against her with a smile plastered to his face is their oldest son Shinachiku Uzumaki who resembles mostly Naruto but has Sakura’s personality and eyes. Tugging on her mother’s pants is middle sister Hanami Uzumaki, resembling mainly Sakura however has the personality favoring Naruto along with his eyes. Sitting on the ground between his mother’s feet is toddler Arashi Uzumaki, his red hair resembling his paternal grandmother Kushina, his personality taking after paternal grandfather Kizashi, as he smiles eagerly to the passing Naruto.

Naruto continues his stroll through the village, waving to everyone, Shikamaru tagging close behind, lighting his fifth cigarette. Tailing behind Shikamaru in his shadow is Shikadai Nara, frantically trying to keep up with his father. Temari lingers close behind, keeping an eye on their son Shikadai from a distance. Naruto can’t help but laugh seeing how much effort Shikadai puts into following in his father’s footsteps.

Choji and Karui step out from inside Ichirakuramen, that they have taken over the business for, and standing next to them is their kid daughter ChoCho who takes after Karui in appearance, but obtained Choji’s light brown hair. Naruto waves to them, approaching just as Ino and Sai Yamanaka emerge from next door at Ino’s flower shop, carrying Inojin on their shoulders. Mirai escorts Naruto inside ichirakuramen where he sits down with Team 10 as a whole, their children piling into the newly designed booth as well. As Naruto prepares to order, Shino Aburame and Kiba Inuzuka enter followed by Neji and Hinata Hyuuga. Accompanying the others at the booth they manage to all squeeze in, cramming themselves up against Naruto. Flustered yet amused, Naruto reminisces with everyone regarding their academy days.

As everyone finishes their bowls and begin heading out, Naruto lingers behind in the shop to say one last goodbye to everyone. As he finally exits, he’s greeted by Lee and TenTen who are holding twins. As they exclaim their excitement for becoming proud and youthful parents, Naruto remarks how they inherited Lee’s eyebrows, making everyone laugh.

As the day comes to an end, he waves goodbye to Lee and TenTen as they depart with Hinata and Neji tailing alongside them. Hanabi follows along side by side with Konohamaru. Mirai comments to Naruto they should head to the village gate, so that he could finish the ceremonial walk to cut the ribbon. As Naruto agrees, he can’t help but picture something is missing.

Walking leisurely towards the village gate, Mirai asks Naruto about his greatest accomplishments up to when he was appointed Hokage. He revisits mentally the formation of Team 7, learning the structure of bonds, he recalls the memories of finding Lady Tsnuade and being trained by Pervy Sage. He recalls rescuing Gaara, defeating Madara, being entrusted the ideologies of Pein and…his mind draws a blank as they near the village entrance. Mirai notices Naruto is in deep thought, she doesn’t question his mental absence though, she continues to walk alongside him in comfortable silence.

Nearing the entrance, he hears cheers from the gates of the entrance. A smile creeps across his face yet again when he realizes that most of the villagers have retreated there to greet him once and for all. Minato Namikaze, his father and fourth hokage, crosses his mind, picturing how he would’ve accepted being appointed Hokage. Lost in deep thought, Mirai interrupts to question what his inaugural speech will cover. As he ponders this, his heart immediately leaps from his ribcage, his eyes landing on Sasuke Uchiha at the entrance of the Leaf Village.

As Naruto hurriedly goes to greet Sasuke, Karin Uzumaki-Uchiha turns around holding a female toddler with bright red hair, pushing up her glasses, a smile spreading across her face. Standing behind her is Jyuugo and Suigetsu, smiling as Naruto approaches. Sasuke smirks, letting Naruto practically tackle him in a hug. As the two welcome one another, Sasuke wastes no time congratulating Naruto on becoming Hokage. To their surprise, Sakura emerges from the crowd cheering, smiling to them both. As she approaches, Karin eagerly waves to her. Sasuke greets Sakura, then looks to Naruto, exchanging a solemn glance. He proceeds to inform Naruto that he’s going to reside outside the village outskirts with Karin and Team Taka to raise his daughter Hayano, rebuilding his Clans legacy and traveling in means of protecting the ones he cares for the most. Naruto and Sakura both agree and understand in unison. As Sasuke turns, Naruto calls to him. He promises to change the system, so that one day Sasuke could feel he too could rejoin Konoha along with his family and Team Taka. With somber smirks, Sasuke declines the offer of ever residing in Konoha, but he swears that he and Team Taka will do everything in their will power to bring peace throughout all nations, to protect what matters. As Sasuke turns and walks away, Naruto proceeds to cutting the ribbon to the Hidden Leaf Village as the Seventh Hokage.

In the first year of Naruto taking office he manages to abolish the Hyuuga Clan slavery system, the child shinobi system and he releases documents pertaining to the Uchiha Clan Massacre so the village could learn the truth. He also sentences Orichimaru to death and Kabuto is placed in solitary confinement, under the strict surveillance of Yamato daily. Naruto signs peace treaties with bordering nations, he manages to succeed in abolishing the Blood Mists’ chunin exam system where they all are forced to murder one another, he opens orphanages across the Hidden Rain village, he finds proper burial grounds for Yahiko and Nagato that’s visited regularly by Konan. Sasuke is removed from Sai’s black book, Danzo’s secret documents are obtained and exploited along with Root’s disbandment.

In the near future Sasuke and Karin give birth to two more offspring, both are males, in the outskirts of Konoha, alongside Suigetsu and Jyuugo. Suigetsu manages to obtain every seven ninja sword while traveling and Jyuugo accompanies Karin to the Leaf Village often to visit Naruto and friends. Sasuke rebuilds his clans legacy, working alongside Naruto to retain the peace between nations.

And there we have it. Boruto with NaruSaku and SasuKarin. I fixed the plot for you.

As for the next generation kids names pertaining to Naruto and Sakura, the credit goes to pumyteh and the fandom, not myself.

This probably could’ve been better but that’s the jist.
