Yandere!Barbarian X GN!Reader Headcanons

You find yourself in the clutches of a barbarian, but maybe it isn’t as bad as you thought. (Mention of him braiding your hair)

Yandere barbarian who kidnapped you during a raid on your village, maybe he had his eyes on you for sometime, maybe he pitted you, maybe it was a spur of the moment after seeing your adorable face. Whatever it was you were pulled up onto his horse that seemed as wide as it was tall, no doubt bred for trampling though towns, however the size of the barbarian could have tricked you into thinking it was a normal sized horse.

He was unusually tall and strong, the fur pelts used as clothing added to his mass making him look like a cruel god. He didn’t even speak word as he pulled you up on the horse by the wrist, continuing the raid until the clan was satisfied then regrouping before trekking back the way they came.

Yandere barbarian who only days after your kidnapping, and the day of returning to their camp, demands a nightlong celebration -akin to a wedding- and dresses you up for a feast. He seems to not care about your kicking and screaming, verbal protests and crying, he continues to dress you and place a handmade headpiece a bit to harshly onto your head.

Throughout the night he makes sure you eat plenty and never part from his side a strong hand always on your waist or arm. He then presents you with some gifts, a well maintained pelt blanket, some lavish jewellery obviously stolen and a wolf-dog pup “he will grow strong to protect you when I’m not there” he said softly placing the puppy into your lap searching for a satisfaction or peace from you for just for a moment.

Yandere barbarian who is a bit rough and very terrifying, but when he’s interacting with you he’s uncharacteristically subdued. Like how’s he shouts, pushes and roughly laughs with the clan but will turn to you and whisper in your ear and laugh more with his eyes than his chest.

Yandere barbarian who doesn’t expect anything from you, he brought you here so he will provide everything with no cost. He was a bit hurt but understanding when you thought he was looking for something sexual when he actually just wanted to tuck you in properly for the cold night ahead. He hardly had time for fooling around before so he’s not sexually devious by nature so it’s no big deal to him and by no means a priority.

Yandere barbarian who catches himself neatening up the tent you both share to impress you- or admiring dainty little crafts, you’ve made to occupy yourself, taking such care to not fumble and ruin them with his large rough hands. The same gentleness comes out when he braids your hair, he always careful to not tug unlike when he does his own it’s always rushed and therefore rough.
