A U.S. Secret Service report written after the war and all eyewitness accounts confirm that Hitler was hyped up at his meeting with Mussolini in the Villa Gaggia near Feltre in the Veneto. The Führer talked for three hours without a break in a dull voice to his beleaguered fellow dictator, who didn't get a single opportunity to speak but just sat impatiently with his legs crossed on the edge of a chair too big for him, frantically gripping one knee. Mussolini had actually planned to convince Hitler that it would be better for everyone if Italy came out of the war, but all he did was knead his painful back from time to time, dab his forehead with a handkerchief, or sigh deeply. The door kept opening to pass on new reports about the bombing of Rome, which was happening at that very moment. Mussolini couldn't even comment on this because Hitler was talking nonstop to a room full of painfully embarrassed people about how no one should doubt the imminent victory of the Axis powers. The dejected Duce was effectively talked into the ground by the artificially pepped-up Führer. The result of the meeting: Italy would stick at it for the time being. Morell [Hitler's personal physician] felt vindicated. He seemed to have maneuvered high-level politics with his injections, and he noted self-importantly: "Führer fit and well. No complaints whatsoever on the return flight. Führer declared in the Obersalzberg in the evening that the success of the day was to my credit."

so much of the french revolution is just various people going "surely committing THIS act of violence/murder will end all the suffering and bloodshed and usher in peace!" followed by a summary of how everything immediately escalated and got even worse afterward. and somehow this website's takeaway is "clearly acts of violence and murder are the only way to end suffering and usher in peace!"
I don't know guys I think we might actually have to actually put in effort and not conflate working toward a better society with seeking personal catharsis.

CHASKA, Minn. — A longtime lobbyist is charged with a felony for allegedly threatening to shoot people at the Minnesota State Capitol.
Jonathan Michael Bohn made his first appearance in Carver County District Court on a charge of felony threats of violence. Judge Eric Braaten set bond at $1 million and ordered Bohn not to contact the person he was arguing with. The defendant must also stay at least a 1/2-mile radius away from the Capitol complex.
KARE 11's Lou Raguse was in the courtroom and says Bohn cried throughout his appearance. His boss and a number of co-workers were present.
Prosecutors say the 41-year-old Bohn, a 20-year lobbyist in the area of higher education, texted someone that he was “excited to have his gun at the capitol and blow someone’s effing face off.” The Minnesota House GOP says the text was received by a constituent of Rep. Jim Nash (R-Waconia), who then reported it to the House Sergeant at Arms, State Patrol, and Carver County Sheriff’s Office.
The criminal complaint says the person Bohn allegedly threatened shared screenshots with investigators, and told them the defendant said he would shoot him in the face.
"After January 6, I bought a pistol. Today I bought 500 bullets," one of the screenshots read. "I can't wait to shoot one of you (expletives) in the face."
A firearm was retrieved during a search of Bohn's home, and he was placed under arrest.
Bohn's defense attorney, John Lesch, says the defendant was engaged in a political argument with someone via text and made comments that were inappropriate but in no way conveyed an actual intent to harm someone. Lesch told the courtroom that Bohn was angered by a post that mocked his friends Rep. Melissa Hortman and Sen. John Hoffman, who were shot over the weekend, but did not intend to terrorize or intimidate anyone.
Jonathan Bohn's next court appearance is set for Aug. 27 at 8:30 a.m.
#problematic of me to say but threatening republicans with political violence *is* a solution to making it get treated badly universally#I don’t think it’s the RIGHT solution. but it IS one

I don’t know how you can pretend to be a student of revolution without acknowledging that there is no scenario for the sudden collapse of the United States without mass ethnic violence

We’ve had close to 15 years of the American left as it exists being in the public spotlight. We do not need to work on “faith” anymore, we have the concrete data of the things they have said and done to inform our opinion of them.
And what they’ve said and done has been anti-democratic waffling non-policy that costs Democrats elections, and Jew hatred that has now amounted to literal murder.

They said those embassy workers deserved it for being zionists. They’re calling now for Iran to eradicate Israel, a thing the mullahs’ regime explicitly exists to do, in their own words! There’s no faith of any kind to be had here! These are just facts!

Bud, I’m not the one shouting “free Palestine” while shooting diplomats or setting old people on fire! I don’t need to prove my good faith, you guys do! The pro Palestine movement has done NOTHING to separate themselves from these murderers. Not a thing! In fact, they’ve doubled down on their love for Hamas instead!
I’ll never forget that this is the year leftists finally did anything to put their words into actions and the words they chose to enact were the ones about murdering Jews in the street.
