sometimes you can’t 100% blame someone for their sexist or homophobic or transphobic beliefs

a lot of what people think is the product of their upbringing and unfortunately the environments they were raised in can instill some very negative attitudes

and those deep-seated issues they have are very hard to change so simply getting angry at someone just because they aren’t as “progressive” as u are isnt helping at all and taking a basic psychology class would do you some good
