I really don't think Dorian will side with the Ruby Vanguard, especially now that he is together with BH again.

Dorian wants revenge against the things that hurt him and his friends. He wrote down Otohan Thull because they caused FCG to die. He wants revenge against the Spider Queen for killing Cyrus and taking Opal and Fy'ra Rai.

The Vanguard hurt Orym, and Fearne, and the rest of Bell's Hells. The Vanguard hurt Keyleth and the rest of the Ashari. The Vanguard hurt many people. Dorian is not going to stand for that.

So does he agree that some of the gods are horrible? Sure. But the Ruby Vanguard is not the sole holder of that belief. No one has ever claimed that all gods are good. The Betrayer Gods are called that for a reason.

But Dorian was searching for a direction for his anger. And the Vanguard are the most obvious and largest target.

I'm SO deeply sorry how can ANYONE think this crown keepers interlude is anything less than critically important to the story of bells hells. Like. The overbearing pulls of the gods. The parallels between Fy'ra Rai and Orym. Between Morrighan and Imogen. Opal and Laudna. Every story that starts out so bright eventually grinds down to it's bitter end. I don't even understand how you pull of a parallel story that will have definite thematic implications going forward in a fully improvised medium but they're doing it??? And it's unfathomable and incredible????
