i really like the idea of jervis tetch and the music meister being friends in arkham because: - just imagine jervis and the meister writing songs and poetry together. meister has never come out of his emo writing phase and jervis just writes these long, convoluted but oddly charming narratives (more often than not containing a girl named Alice) -eventually someone comes up with the idea of a hypnosis battle. you know its gonna fuckin happen. eventually they're just quietly mumbling/singing at each other because they're both too stubborn to give in -jervis and his friends accept him into the group and protect him and it's so bewildering for the meister because for once in his life there are people sticking up for him -late at night, just between delirium and overtiredness, meister often talks about his plans to take over the world and eventually, jervis starts to wonder if it'd be such a bad idea after all -just. hypnotic villain team. pls.

and tbh i just love like the ‘world’ that ARE is set in? like the way everything is fluid and not really ‘real’ like Adam can teleport and materialise in random places and create weird non-sensical dream worlds where people from the past, present and future come together and there’s literally no explanation given for this except “it’s my show so y’know...whatever” and i love that. i love the fact that ARE doesn’t obey the laws of the universe.

i love adam’s sister so much like she infitilises him a lot but she is 100% there for him and never tells him to ‘grow up’ or acts like him or his idiosyncracies are a nuisance and that’s such a pure example of a healthy sibling relationship i l o v e
