i needa get this out.

Trying to come to terms with the fact that because i am an female oc, reblogging memes and drawing blanks is normal, but today has been especially egregious for me. 

I’ve been having a horrible day because my parents really out there telling me that my efforts (despite my crippling anxiety) doesn’t matter and no matter how hard I may try I could never get any recognition for it. No thank you, just negative bullshit that about that I’m ‘ scared ‘. 

I’ve been in this constant struggle with this blog for awhile, on and off, on and off. At first, I really didn’t care if I only had a few people to rp with. It was to be expected given the nature of my blog and yotsuba as a muse. She’s a rarity -- and older female muse who isn’t really here for shipping and everything. I get it, most characters in the rp community are young people. I get that. 

Lately, I’ve been comparing my canon male muses (particularly Nanners and Settie) to Yotsuba. Yotsuba is of my own creation, I worked hard on her and her backstory. And hell -- I’m super proud of what I’ve done in the years that I’ve had her. And that is because people lend me their ear and let me have this platform to grow her. That is something that I hold dear to my heart. Canon muses are fun but nothing feels me feel prouder than the success of this blog. But I feel because they are male and canon muses they will get interaction even if i didn’t try. That’s just my inevitability. 

So this goes back to my real life struggles and rp. I want to interact with more people, but I feel that people are just either A) don’t know how to interact or B) just don’t want to interact. And my biggest solution to that is sentence starters! I’m terrible with making starters of my own, so this is probably the way to interact with me outside of plotting. But it just feels like my efforts are being ignored and frankly it makes me feel horrible. I cannot lower my expectations lower than just having one or two people rping with me.

You like Yotsuba? Then rp with her. 

RP is my escape, I want to drown myself in writing because it’s how I cope. I know it’s pathetic of me to say because I’m supposed to be this positive mentality of the fandom but even I have limits.

I haven’t really thought about this one! I wanted Yotsuba to be a character that isn’t too attached to her universe (even though her backstory is tied completely to said universe). I think she could fit anyone as just a crime detective in other series, like Ace Attorney or the Lupin series. Dramas that are grounded in reality.

a slightly altered timeline.   send me  ‘ timeline ’  and a number and i will tell you how my muse and their life would have turned out in a life slightly altered compared to their canon one—same universe, but where something little, or something big, went differently.

the timeline in which they live an ideal life, had no opportunities taken from them, were subjected to nothing terrible, where they grew up to fulfil their full potential.

the timeline in which they never met who would become the most influential or important person in their life, or that person was taken from them before they were capable of forming memories.

the timeline in which something important to them happened in a different stage of life.

the timeline in which they knew beforehand of something they would have prevented if given the chance.

the timeline in which they continue on from the current point in their lives to the best happy ending that is within their reach, where nothing that has happened so far is negated but from now on, the happy things start piling up.

the timeline in which everything that could go wrong from this point on… does.

2.  Is your muse a deviant? Are they overly flirtatious or forward?

I’d say she’s pretty flirtatious, but not sure if it’s overly so. If you’re attractive, she will point it out, man or woman. It rarely goes beyond that, but if the other person’s gonna flirt back at her? She will reciprocate if she is attracted to you too. 

4.  Does your muse initiate a lot of physical contact?

Very much so! Almost too physical at times. Sometimes she forgets that other people might not like physical interactions like that, and more often enough she is told that she’s stepping over boundaries. She learns the second time luckily! 

6.  Does your muse steal clothing from their partner?

If they fit her ---- yes. She might even cut it and style it too. 

8. Is your muse comfortable with, or proud of their body? Are they insecure?

Quite the obvious, she has full confidence on her body. She prides herself in her very fit body, but I suppose she could go without so much bobbles, because her professor has her active ALOT. What she’s insecure is the wrinkles forming on her face, though.
