The cat is bragging about getting your eye
Stop bringing up the cat!
Aaron looked up and glared. His eye filled with wrath.

...I see. A much greater difference, then.

I was not excised, I left. During the Seventh Occult war. The catalyst was...what you could call ...a disagreement. My Engine...
The old man paused.
I believe perhaps you're right. This is far too public. But know I was not cast out, I abandoned that doomed ship long before the water began to seep through the cracks in the hull. I took those loyal to me and left. The Insurgency is the result.
Be honest, do you have an Engineer and what are they like?
That would be me. I'd imagine you already know my name.

I prefer how mine works. This way I can keep things under control, especially when it decides to be vague on how to reach our destination. I do find it interesting. I've always thought of my Engine in the sense of a locomotive. Yours seems to have taken that idea more literally, and it makes your Engineer its coal.

The primary differance I can see is that your Engine is more...accommodating. I've only shown it to Janice and she couldn't understand its output, nor could I teach her how to. It will only speak to me. Fitting, I suppose.

Enlighten me. What has become of my counterpart? I'd like to avoid a common pitfall, if possible.

Because Lotus brought it up and I'm sure won't ever ask you two directly, how would you answer the "do androids dream of electric sheep" question?
Unfortunately it seems that they do. And now we have another thing to deal with. Especially if the scrap heaps can't stick with their original job.
I don't much care if they dream or not. One does not consider the desires of a hammer when they strike a nail.

send me "be honest..." with a question your muse has been dying to ask mine and they'll answer truthfully.

Awe Felis did like you.
The eye I lost to her begs to differ.

What's your opinion on the 5th overseer? Since she claims to have been there from the very beginning.
Oh...don't bring up the cat...
Aaron Siegel slams what he was working on down onto his desk hard enough to audibly crack the wood. Janice jumps a bit at the sudden sounds. He turns, looking as though he were about to freeze over with hatred.
That creature was insufferable beyond words. I never liked her, and she never liked me. I wish I'd killed her when I had the chance. If she can even die, that is.

Aaron, who on your council were you close woth, what's your zodiac, what's your specialty, are you a dilf, why did you lead the revolution?
He paused. A sigh escaped his lips, begrudgingly choosing to answer the questions just to make them go away, even though he knew perfectly well that it would only invite more.
Those who I was close with on the council are long gone. I never cared for the ones who survive to this day. I'm uncertain of what relevance my "zodiac" has. My specialty is getting things done by whatever means necessary... I...what is a "dilf?" ...nevermind. As for why I did what I did, it's because the one who sits all high and mighty in his mansion was too much of a coward to do what had to be done.

Name. Relation to the foundation since you could send a letter.. just stuff like that
The old man turns and sneers. There's practically nothing behind his eyes as far as emotions go, barring a clear and long held malice.
Aaron Siegel. My relation is something you wretches from the dark should be able to piece together from there.

They know where they are going and when. That's plenty to counter a mission. If you'll excuse me, I have work that needs doing.
There is something disturbing about the Foundation running a school
For worse, the Foundlings program has been extant in my reality for a while. I can't imagine they have much reason to be rid of it.

If they're from the Foundation, we keep an eye on them. Can never be too careful. Too many moles, too many secrets.
Rarely one of them proves themselves well enough to make beta. But most just want to crash and burn.
