Okay, so since I’ve been gone for so long, I thought it’d be fun to share the improvement between my character guides!

So the original guide was made 6/26/24 and while it was okay, it definitely could’ve been better yk? Some things should’ve been clarified better and I got a bit lazy at certain points.

This newer guide was made yesterday (9/1/24) and definitely adds more clarification to certain aspects like shading, backgrounds, etc. Also note that I’ve slightly revamped everyone while still maintaining their main look. Perhaps I’ll redo their Fullbody reference sheets, but I might not really even change anything on their fullbodies. 🤷

Hey guys, I erm, kinda forgot about this!!! I will be returning to it though, but seeing as this project is mainly used for art style and writing experimentation, the art style will be different in comparison to how it’s been shown before!!! I’m also slightly tweaking a couple things to (maybe) make things easier for myself design-wise and story wise??? Maybe I’ll revise the character sheet and uh- post it here? If you guys are interested. 💀

Moon 0: “The Prologue” Page 3

It’s now daytime, clear skies blanket the volcanic island below. Irnimite and Sunfish are gathered in a small cave, basked by the fire’s warmth and light; after Irnimite’s accident, her arm was quickly amputated, only leaving behind leafy bandages. Despite this, Irnimite glances down at the egg she lost her ARM to protect, a mixture of worry and relief cloud her expression. The egg begins to rattle, a loud crack emerges. The two dragons look at one another in a look of shock and surprise.

“The Egg!” They both cried in unison, gathering around just in time to witness the hatching of the young Icewing hatchling, basked in the fire’s warm glow.

(OOC: Hello again and welcome to the final page of the prologue! I’ve finally think I’ve gotten a semi-consistent schedule of a little over 2 weeks between posts. This page was a lot more experimental, with some style changes that I’ll be implementing going forward. I’m very excited to finally have this done after 15 days from the last post! Now I can finally start actually getting the moons going and kick the story into overdrive!)

As Irnimite tumbles into the water, her partner in crime dives not far behind. Icewing silhouettes loom above the water, but soon leave with no sign of the two dragons. After an undisclosed amount of time, it’s now sunrise and the two dragons wash ashore an uninhabited island, collapsing with a mixture of exhaustion and relief to be alive…

(OOC: Hello again! I know it’s been *checks watch* over three weeks, but here I am!!! Life and other projects kinda had a chokehold over me, sooo oops! Idk why I procrastinated so hard on this?? Like, this one was mainly environmentally focused rather than action like the previous page. It only took me five hours and yet over 3 weeks. 💀💀💀 Just one more page and The Prologue is complete!)

(OOC: Woohoo! This is my first ever comic and I’m pretty happy with how it came out. Even if there is some things that may be strange, I’m hoping as I go on, I’ll improve on my comic making and art in general. I also got REALLY ambitious with some of the more dynamic poses, so some of them look a lil wonky lol.)

The series follows the three main protagonists, Sunfish the Mudwing, Irnimite the Skywing, and Ivory the Icewing as they live their life on a quiet volcanic island off the coast of Pyrrhia.
