the game is now partially voiced, so I'll be publishing updates rather than releasing the full game all at once.

I just found your game on itchio! and. its so good. I got creative inspiration just playing the demo. ANYWAYS. I wanted to ask and im sorry if someone asked before, how do you go about scripting and plotting your game?? I've always been fascinated with making a game like this in the future. But i was curious if you planned everything out from the start, or if you went with the flow?

I do have a general plan, but keep in mind, I'm too much of a perfectionist and I'm so self critical that I change my mind 20 times a day , think about quitting, and convince myself people will absolutely DESPISE me for not fitting their standards, etc.

As for the plot, I actually planned it a while ago, but I wasn't in the right mindset to work on it back then.

It was originally meant to be a webtoon, until I realized I could actually make it into a game myself.

I started working seriously on the visual novel version last year. The first thing I did was create the characters, give them backstories and connect each of them to Nietzsche's concepts (think of it as a puzzle, I wanted people to guess the meaning behind their actions and who they are as a person/their purpose).

Brainstorming helps a lot. I did the same with the writing and overall plan. I tend to write by hand first because it's the only way my brain locks in. (Maybe I trick myself into thinking I'm studying for an exam last minute, and my muscle memory kicks).

Once the planning is done, I try to write a draft, and I'll rewrite the final script as soon as I have time.

Then comes the translation, though it takes a while, since some sentences make no sense in english, even with a translator. Wordhippo did save my ass a few times though.

Now that the game is partially voiced, I can't change the script once I send it to the casting director (helloyinny, btw, KINDEST SOUL). When I tell you the amount of FEAR (cry of fear reference?) this gives me..

How would Clive go about comforting Mc after a nightmare. (Eg, he died again or cheated) I've been known to cry in my sleep, sometimes even scream depending on how bad the nightmare is. So am curious how he'd deal with that. Also welcome backkkkkkkkkkk!!!! We missed you. Hope u've been doing well.

the mc will canonically have nightmares about it. Even now, they still get flashbacks of what was left of his body beneath that cold, sterile, white cloth. (AND maybe the only way to force the two of you to finally talk, to truly move past what happened, is by making you afraid enough to never let it happen again. But this time, it won't be Clive's fault :3).

He'd wake you up in the most gentle way imaginable- holding you close, caressing your face, guiding you through grounding exercises, etc. He might whisper that as long as you're with him, it won't ever happen again.

Just..don't ever leave him, you promised, remember?

By the way, if you don't mind, I'd like to ask how Clive would react to this dream (although it seems to me that he was the one showing it, lol)

hi!!!! I finished play the demo yesterday! I put it off for a long time because of my studies, but as soon as I got free, I immediately opened the game, I fell in love.... with the drawing, with the story (I love zombies , this not rude????😭😭😭), with the MUSIC and of course with Clive, he is a wonderful boy…
