This MV does really remind me of many feelings about this movie. 🥰

The song is "We Are Born To Play", also I might tag @snellybutter for she suggested me this song the first time, and it suits Vanellope. I just couldn't resist myself from making this.
You know what I feel special about this scene? Ralph did not entirely blamed Vanellope, instead he implied that she had been 'brainwashed' into leaving him for Slaughter Race. He believed in her that she'd never do such thing.
And I think it's reasonable for him to assume that because Turbo managed to brainwash whole Sugar Rush into turning against her, he just thought that same had been done to Vanellope in order to turn her against him.
That's why he had such a strong loath for Shank and did not care about having to ruin her game in order to get Vanellope out. He was afraid Shank was brainwashing Vanellope just like Turbo did to Sugar Rush.
Here, I decided to post one new thing to this blog.
VANELLOPE. She’s cute in every way and I love her. I wanted to try drawing her…but for this specific one, I left it as a sketch, and I left very few things untouched on the sketch which is why most of it probably looks lazy (ex. hands). I loved her color scheme so this drawing was mostly for me to try some digital painting! I’m pretty excited about it, and I hope you all like it.
[EDIT] added candy to her hair, and her hair bow. cleaned up some minor details.
since i’ve equated a few of my favorite dreamworks movies to celestial bodies, i wanted to do something similar with a few disney/pixar movies that i love and love seems to be just the right theme !!
remember to buy gifts for your mom! there’s only 1 week left to prepare !!

You know what I just realized for the first time about Vanellope?...
Right from the get-go -right when she first learned how to really drive in WiR- she was already revealing that sticking to one track wasn't for her...that it was boring...that she really just wanted to 'drive anywhere'.
Think about it. Once she got her driving bearings, Vanellope had excelled on Ralph's hand-made track...But then quickly (within seconds, actually), she was already shouting "Hey Ralphie- watch this!" as she broke off the track, crashed right through the barriers- and raced up to that crazy, risky unfinshed bonus level.
It was like she realized that she had a lot more to prove than her just speed. That she had a lot more to experience than just going around on a track...
It occurred to her that now that she could finally drive, she had a lot more freedom than she ever had before.
And within seconds on being on Ralph's track, Vanellope already realized that racing around on a track was restrictive to her rebellious, adventurous, daredevil nature- and that it just wasn't exciting enough for her, not intense enough for her...not freeing enough for her...
And so although she greatly loved her game...although she got to finally got to openly drive...although she got to be loved (yet controlled) by the human players while racing...
I can totally understand why after 6 long years of racing in a circle on very over-predictable tracks -where a player got to control her every move, nonetheless- Sugar Rush got super boring to Vanellope. Restrictive, taxing, and unenjoyable for the most part, too.
While in Sugar Rush, racing became more like a job or duty (heh...XD) to Vanellope than something she really enjoyed doing.
And that's why Slaughter Race appealed so much to Vanellope- and why she wanted to leave Sugar Rush for it.
Finally she'd found a super exciting and intense racing game that she fit in. A game where she couldn't predict what would happen next if her life depended on it lol A game that had no boundaries or barriers- in fact, it didn't even have any tracks she had to stayed glued to...
Slaughter Race was a game that, instead of restricting her, accepted and even encouraged her and her rebellious, adventurous, daredevil nature- those feelings that she had to pin up for so long (by force or by choice).
And most appealing, in Slaughter Race, Vanellope found the truest freedom she'd ever get to experience. Freedom that was finally had no limits...
