Please remember, you are creating art for a colouring book! Keep that in mind while drawing. Your art should have clean outlines and should be in black and white, to make colouring as easy as possible. The theme for this colouring book is Wolfstar, so all art should include Remus Lupin and/or Sirius Black. We are aiming for a light-hearted, positive theme for this book, so please do not draw heavy angst or gore!

Prompting is now open!!

Prompting for our very first Fandom Colouring Book is now open!

Submit your Wolfstar prompts via this Google form to help give artists in our fandom some ideas! 

All prompts will be anonymous. We ask that you keep your prompts centered on Wolfstar, Remus, or Sirius. Please do not prompt angst or gore; we want to keep the tone of this colouring book light-hearted! 

NSFW prompts are allowed, but please indicate them as such! If we recieve any NSFW submissions from artists, they will be included in a separate NSFW colouring book, with our primary book being SFW content.

Frequently Asked Questions!

For those of you who have been wondering about our fest, here is our official FAQ! If we receive additional questions, we will add them here!

I can’t draw! Can I still participate?

Yes! Yes you can! You can submit prompts for artists to choose if they would like! You can also download the finished colouring book and either print it (to colour with traditional media like colouring pencils) or colour it digitally! Once you’ve coloured a piece, let us know! We’d love to see your finished work! We encourage you to tag your work with #Wolfstar Colouring Book !

Can I submit more than one drawing?

Yes! We only ask that you sign up for one drawing at a time, just to make sure that you don’t over commit! Once you finish the first drawing, you’re welcome to select another prompt or self-prompt for a second drawing!

Do I have to use a prompt?

Nope! The prompts are there as guides to help give artists ideas or to help inspire them! Artists are welcome to self-prompt (ie: draw whatever they want) and submit that instead!

Does my drawing have to be black and white?

Yes please! Otherwise, that kind of defeats the purpose of a colouring book! Remember, we are creating these drawings so that people who don’t draw can download them and colour them! Pictures that work best will be ones with strong, clear, and clean outlines with no shading. Try to avoid filling in things and adding shadows! That’s a big part of the colouring process! If you need examples of what a colouring book page looks like, you can Google it or ask the mods to send you a sample!

Can my prompt/drawing be NSFW?

Yes, but we ask that you clearly indicate that it is NSFW. We know that not everybody likes NSFW content (and that many people in our fandom are also minors). It is important to us that we make everybody comfortable. If we do receive NSFW content, we will create a separate colouring book just for that to allow those who are 18+ to download should they so choose!

Once I finish colouring, can I post it to Tumblr/Facebook/other social media?

Yes, but we ask that you link directly back to the artist who created the original line art. Think of this as a collaborative work! You are creating your own spin on somebody else’s work! We want to make sure that those artists still get credit when you post your colouring!

Does the prompt/drawing have to be specifically Wolfstar?

Yes and no. While the theme of this book IS Wolfstar, we feel that Wolfstar and Marauders are very closely connected! After all, Remus and Sirius make up half the Marauders! You are welcome to submit prompts/drawings that are Marauder themed as long as you keep the theme of Wolfstar in mind! 

Can I prompt/draw angst?

For this colouring book specifically, we are trying to keep the mood light and happy! Please keep that in mind for your prompts and your drawings. That being said, if there is enough interest, we may do another colouring book featuring angst in the future!

I like this idea! Are you going to do the same thing with Drarry/ Pansmione/ RarePair/ Different fandom/ another ship?

Maybe! If this goes well and we have enough interest, we may be inspired to create another colouring book for a different pairing/ a different fandom! Let’s just see how this one goes first before we delve into anything else!
