Color Symbolism: Clothes

Alright, so here we go. Let’s start with Marinette. 

Her outfit is black, white, and pink. 

Black- Bold, powerful, classic, sophistication. 

White- Simplicity, purity, innocence, goodness.

Pink- sentimental, affection, friendship, 

She wears a white shirt- that is the core of her being. She is pure and innocent and good. Over that, she wears a black jacket- she has an outer shell of boldness and power. Her pants are pink- at least half of her outfit. She is full of affection and love and she is a good friend to everyone. She is friendly and kind. This represents the core of her being. 

Adrien wears white, black, blue (pants), and his shirt has yellow, pruple, and green. 

Black- Bold, powerful, classic, sophistication.

White- Simplicity, purity, innocence, goodness.

Blue- trustworthy, calm, peaceful, strength, reliablity. 

He wears a black shirt- he is less bold, but he is powerful and his father expects sophisitaction from him. Over that, his jacket is white. He is pure, innocent, and good. That is what he shows most with his friends. His pants are blue. He is trustworthy, calm, strong, and relaible. 

Yellow- positive, optimistic, energetic. 

Purple- nostalgic, sentimental, sophisitcated, wealth, luxury

Green- rebirth, related to wealth, enduring, nature

These are the undertones of his peronality. He is a sun child- very happy and optomistic, despite the ciscumstances he has to endure. He has a lot of energy. He is nostaligic, and shows this by his computer background (his mother). He looks back at how things used to be. His father has a lot of money and he is surrounded by that- but that is a small part of him, not really who he is. He lives in luxuery, but his personality rarly reflects that. He edures a lot (his cold father, mother’s eath) and that is a big part of who he is. 

Ladybug’s colors are red and black.

Red- anger, danger, warmth, passion, can be overwhelming. 

Black- Bold, powerful, classic, sophistication.

Her main color is red- she is warm and caring, full of passion, and can overwhelm those around her. When she is mad, she is dangerous and a force to be reconded with. This is pared with her boldness- with the suit, she is more willing to take action. She is powerful and due to her role of power, she s expected to be sophisicated. 

Chat’s outfit is completly black. His ring is silver and his eyes are green. 

Black- Bold, powerful, classic, sophistication.

Green- rebirth, related to wealth, enduring, nature

Silver- mysterious, responsibility, self-control

His outfit points out more of what he lacks. He is bold and powerful- that comes with superpowers- but he is now allowed to leave behind his father’s rules and his responisblitithes. He is sophiticated in that he is a perfect gentleman- but this is his chance to break free. 

He is reborn when he gets his miraclous- this is the freedom he has yearned for, this is him. He is now able to say and do what he wants, without fear of retribution. 

He is mysterious in many ways that I doubt I have to explain- he is a superhero, after all, and keeps a lot of things private. But back again to what he lacks- now that he is free, he throws out Adrien’s responsiblities of photoshoots, being grounded, and the like while trading them for bigger ones- the safety of his lady and Paris itself. He has self-control, but throws a lot of his reservations as Adrien out the window. 

While the creators probably didn’t think that deep into the colors (besides inverting the colors on Adrien and Marinette to mimic the other) it is still interesting to look into.

An AU Where...

There’s ostrich that lives in the Agreste home that tries to kill Gabriel every time the bird sees him

Holy cow yes! 

I think the crush should work the same way it does in the show. Idk i’m just imagining Marinette tripping because someone was hurrying by and bumped into her but Adrien catches her? (Maybe this counts for the ‘test’ for Adrien to get Plagg bc Master Fu was watching). And then she can’t see that oh he’s hot but she’s like ohmygosh Alya he is so adorable and Alya’s just like “You don’t even know” but anyway he’s really nice to her and stuff. And then over when she can ‘see’ Chat she’s like cool. Where is Adrien. I wanna see the cute boi. Where. And I just imagine her being so happy and just it’s so cute and I fully support your idea it’s beautiful. 

And then Adrien just really likes Marinette because she lacks sight but is totally accurate in her descriptions of shit like “Mylene is so nice she’s like a sunflower” (before the codename thing) and she makes good jokes. And then Marinette loves his laugh so much because it sounds like a fairy’s laugh or a running stream and is strangely poetic when describing him. So he talks to her a lot and stuff as Adrien. He loves Lady Fairy because she is just so excited about things he found mundane and now he is seeing everything in a whole new light just like Marinette.

Marinette was happy. She had woken up on time for school. It may have been her second day back, but it was good anyway. She was carrying macaroons and humming quietly to herself as she walked. For once, she was able to keep a leisurely stroll. She had gotten close to the stairs in front of school and was trying to find where the stairs started. 

Suddenly, though, someone on her left shoved her. Not on purpose, of course- they probably weren’t looking. Still, that didn’t make up for the fact that she was off balence and falling. She felt her stomach drop and she prepared for impact- impact that never came. Moments before she calculated pain, she was caught. Their arms were soft and their hair tickled their face as they began to help her stand. She could feel their arms flexing as they pulled her into a standing position. She felt her face heat a little. 

“Th-thanks.” 

“No problem,” replied Adrien. Her face lost it’s heat quickly enough. Oh. Adrien. Why, oh all people, had it been him?

The first day of school he had walked in the door with Chloe Bourbitch next to him. Chloe walked in and announced that she was his best friend and they all had to be nice to him while “glaring directly at us like a piranha” (Alya’s words, not hers). He and Chloe had also put some gum on the floor, which stuck to Marinette’s shoes and her cane. Marinette had told him off as Alya helped her up (she could feel the heat from Alya’s glare burn into Chloe’s face). Chloe had made some snide comment about how someone as blind as a bat should be homeschooled and not bother anyone else. Adrien had walked away after that. 

So no, she did not like Adrien. He was a jerk- anyone who was a friend of Chloe was one, to be honest- likely slefish too, and from what she’d gathered, rude. He was not someone she wanted to hang out with. Her face must have been cross, becuase he started to apologize. 

“I’m sorry, did I hurt you?” He sounded sincere. He was probably smiling and trying to smother laughs at her expense. 

“No.” came her stony response. Her voice was cold. 

“I’m- I’m sorry, what did I do then?” he inquired. She just huffed. After a long moment of silence, she had to ask. 

“Do you really not know?” If he was just joking she was going to kill him. 

“Do I sound like I do?”

“Does yesterday ring a bell with you? Gum?” 

“That? I didn’t do anything, I promise. Alya can probably tell you. I was trying to pick up the gum, not put it so you would step on it. I swear!” His sincerity... well, she had only one reason to doubt it. 

“And being friends with Chloe?” 

“She has been my only friend since we were little kids. If she acts like that around you guys, though... I can understand why she has a bad rep.” 

Huh. Maybe he wasn’t so bad after all.

Once school was over, Marinette realized she was in trouble. She had not asked about the weather that morning, so therefore she hadn’t known it was going to rain. And while she loved ran (the sounds were soothing) she was not so happy about walking outside in the rain. The bakery wasn’t far, but her cane would be slippery and it would make it harder to navigate. 

Resighning herself to a doubly long walk, she stepped away from the group of kids waiting to be picked up and out into the pouring rain. 

When she walked out, though... no rain hit her. She was dry. She stuck one of her hands out. Her hand got wet, but not most of her arm. She tried to stick out her other, but it made contact with something. Someone. A quiet noise escaped her victim. 

“Oh, sorry! I didn’t see you there.” She joked while gesturing with her cane. 

“oh, ‘s alright, Marinette.” It was Adrien. Again. That meant that he was keeping her dry with.. an umbrella? That was the only explanation. 

“Do you want me to walk you home?” he asked. Though Marinette hated having to have help, she couldn’t deny it being helpful. 

“If you don’t mind.” She said. 

“Not at all.” Adrien looped his arms through her, like they were going to a formal dance. He made sure to walk slowly so she could find her footing. 

Well. Wasn’t he a perfect gentleman. 

‘Where do you live?” She told him the answer and he led her home. Step by step, she did not trip once. They spoke little on the way, but it was a comfortable silence. 

Once they got to the door, he opened it and she smiled at him. 

“Thanks!” She said with a bright smile.

“You’re welcome, Marinette.” His presence felt like a ray of sunshine, lighting the darkness and bringing hope and light. The lightning and thunder chose to take that moment to strike in unison. And that was the moment Marinette fell in love.

I’m glad that there are many people who like my work. Actually,I just want to draw Blind+Butterfly!Marinette because I like her like this.

During my work time,I thought and thought again. Someone thought she is villain. OH NO, I never said she is villain… AH, but I never said she is hero too. I’m sorry. hehe

It’s still Champion. LOL

5.Marinette’s hobby

From kat-thatoneweirdo’s fanfiction  , I agree with Marinette’s hobby is that, she sings and makes her own music, and recreates sings for her own covers with a sound pad.

6. Nooroo’s hidden place

In Marinette’s pigtails. (lol) Nooroo can help navigate her behind her ears when no one around.

7. Love square between Adrien and Marinette

…I haven’t thought about how to work in their crush into the story yet…  ; w ;

From Monsters and Chat noir,There may be champions as well. Lady Fairy can make champion with repair skills but not as good as Miraculous ladybug’s cure.

Happy four friend! Marinette like music,Adrien like music,Nino like music and .. Alya like gossip? But it’s fun.

Adrien had been treated in a special way. He understood that feeling. He therefore treated her like a normal person. which she wanted that way.

Marinette likes flowers because it is fragrant! And suitable for her butterflys
