Danny nods enthusiastically, beginning to bounce from one foot to the other. He hangs in the air for slightly longer than can be considered normal. “I see! That’s pretty interesting. Though the chest thing does seem a bit uncomfortable, so uh, I guess that part’s not so cool?”

Upon hearing those questions, his grin gets even wider and his eyes light up. Danny was never one for missing a chance to blather on about ghosts. “Oh, that’s because of me being half-ghost! You see, ghosts aren’t really affected by the same ‘laws’ that most people are, to put it simply. So, gravity only really affects them if they want it to, and for them controlling their flying is pretty much just like us walking. They also don’t breathe, so the thinning air doesn’t affect them either!”

"Uh- hey there! I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself 'n stuff because... well, I don't know lot'sa people yet! My name's The Girl Who Could Fly Series Fandom, but uh. I go by Conner, because it's shorter and easier to say. Who might you be; if ya don't me askin." ((ahh, sorry if this is out of place- I dunno how to do starters ;v;))

“Hey! I don’t really know a lot of people either honestly… It’s nice to meet you Conner! I’m the Danny Phantom fandom, so you can call me Danny. Also, um… does your source mean that you can fly? Sorry if that’s like, an intrusive question!”

Danny grins. “Oh, cool! I can too, though that’s uh, probably for a different reason. And if you’re comfortable talking about it... do you know how it works?”

He wants to ask other questions, but it seems a bit rude to bombard someone he just met with questions without a single explanation from himself. “Don’t worry, I don’t really mind! I’m actually half-ghost, and um... I’m not entirely sure how it works.”

You raise your eyebrows in surprise and take a step back instinctively.

“Oh…  That’s cool.“

You are now very aware that a stranger is in your room, and you don’t exactly have the most sfw materials littered around your room. New objective, get him in the lounge instead of your room before he notices you

“Reading material.” You quickly waltz across the room and open the door, motioning for Danny to walk through, trying your  best not to seem suspicious. 

“So uh, come on, I got some drinks and stuff in the fridge, I think you might need one after dropping in like that.”

You notice Edd take a step back and frown internally. Sure, ghost powers are a little weird and freaky to most people, but it still stung a bit whenever someone is afraid of them.

The sudden change in demeanor is also noticed by you, but you chalk it up more to him wanting to move the conversation away from your little display of power rather than having dirty books and magazines lying around. You decide to go along with it, and exit the room normally.

“Sure, if it’s not too much trouble… do you have like, coke or something?”

You attitude does an almost complete 180 once Danny is out of your room, ushering him towards the living room and onto the couch.

“hell yeah, just wait here and uh…”

You throw a glance towards the hall.

“If my brother comes out yell for me. And don’t trust anything he says or does. He loves his pranks.”

You quickly make your way to the kitchen, grab two drinks and make your way back, handing the can over because you’re 100% sure this dude can’t catch.

“Here, dude.”

An image of Danny flicks through your head, almost like a memory, causing you to smile. 

Danny fumbling so many times he’d break a world record then dropping the drink, pff

You nod and sit down on the couch, feeling pretty comfortable despite being in a stranger’s home. That is, until you hear that it could possibly be a prank war zone.

“Oh... uh, sure.”

You’d ask about said brother, but something tells you that you’ve already got all the info you would want to know. A grateful smile appears on your face as he hands you the can, seeing as your reaction to things tended to be turning intangible. That, and your reflexes sucked anyways.

“Thanks Edd. It’s a good thing you didn’t toss it to me.”

After a long time of just lazing about in your room, you decided that you should go outside and at least get a little exercise via flying. You soon became carried away and paid little to no attention to your surroundings, seeing as you could pass straight through them if you so wanted. Unfortunately, this meant that you didn't notice passing through one of the gates on your planet, nor did you notice the sudden change in gravity until your face met a roof with a loud, echoing THUD.

Coincidentally but also not that coincidentally for a teen, you were also lazing about your room when you heard a very loud thud from your roof.

“It’s not December?”

You say in a vaguely bitter voice, standing up to making your way to the window, you throw it open, about to climb out onto the roof before you saw a figure fall right in front of you with another loud thud.

You looked down at the boy with a surprised expression, mouth opening and closing a few times before you thought of something to say.

“Uh… nice of you to drop in?”

A Proposition

The sky is blue, has always been blue, will always be blue. But is it a different shade of blue from yesterday? Who can say? And I do not mean that Who, dear listeners. I meant the who who looks over our little community in benevolence. The who who monitors our every thought and feeling. The who whom we are not supposed to know about. So please, forget what I have just told you as I tell you; Welcome to Fandomstuck.

Was that pretty good, listeners? I believe it was. And this leads us into my proposition. I would love to start a community radio show for our darling little community. We may be few, but I would be delighted to open a line of communication for us all; especially for the beings who control our every thought and action. This radio show could be organized to announce new and exciting events for our community! I’m getting goosebumps just telling you about this idea that came to me from the genderless being who controls my every thought and action. Please, listeners, tell your friends and their friends and your enemies and their enemies about this proposition. I look forward to seeing your collective response.

[Hello! Genderless being who controls Night Vale’s every thought and action here. Please call me LF. Sorry to use him as the medium for communication, but he’s just so good at it. I really would love to start a community ‘radio’ show for Fandomstuck. It would, of course, be in the style of WTNV, but I do want it to be a legitimate source of news in our community. We could organize multi-blog events, spread a Magic!Anon to the masses, cause the apocalypse…you know, all of those fun things! Other things that would be included in the radio show are sponsorships (free blog promos), the weather (song/video recommendations), and basically any other segments we can come up with. This may also turn into a low-key running fanfic, but you didn’t hear that from me. Or anyone. Or anything for that matter. You heard nothing. However we won’t go through with this idea unless we gain the support of at least 10 Fandomstuck focused blogs. That would include, but not be limited to, Fandom RP and Ask Blogs. (Also @witch0fdoom your blogs collectively count as one. I love you, but I really do want this to be something everyone wants. Though please feel free to spread the f*ck out of this sh*t.) Other blogs voting would be much appreciated as well since the more the merrier. I want this to be something for everyone to enjoy, but it can’t run without the active participation of those Fandomstuck focused blogs. Votes will be counted by reblogs. And one last thing, if anybody has any ideas or suggestions, please shoot us a message.

“It’s just grass, I’m sure it’ll be fine. The roof however…”

You glance up, unable to see the damage from here but hoping it’s not major. You don’t really know how to fix a roof, and your source didn’t have the best time adding one to their home.

“I’m sure it’ll be fine.”

You shrug off the issue, a problem for later.

“So you wanna climb through the window or you wanna head ‘round to the front?”

You glance up at the roof along with Edd. It doesn’t look too bad, maybe a few damaged shingles. Unfortunately, there is some ectoplasm splattered onto it thanks to your face. That would probably leave behind a slight glowing patch on the roof. At least it won’t leak.
