A giggle escaped the Homunculus as she witnessed the mechanic's smile. He never missed a beat, did he? Cardia was glad that even in the morning Barbicane seemed to be filled with energy. "Good morning, Impey. As always, thank you for the wonderful breakfast. What are you working on today? Is there anything I can help you with?"

“Cardia!” Impey grinned wider upon hearing the other’s voice, turning quickly to face her completely. “It’s always a blessing to hear you say you enjoyed breakfast.” At her questions he paused, putting a hand to his chin, still grinning. “You want to help me today?” He tilted his head before giving her a thumbs up. “I’m going to be working on some of the machines around this house to make sure they’re in top shape! You’re free to come with me and together we can make sure everything goes smooth!”
