-listening to the liberty's kids theme song -the olympics -watching logan sargeant race in f1 -when a british person insults my accent -every time im in an old navy -gazing upon the bass pro shops pyramid -when i see a really good 4th of july meme -on the off chance i listen to hamilton from top to bottom -in the american girl doll store -driving on country highways and seeing fireworks billboards -eating 99c pizza and bagels with cream cheese in nyc -any time someone says the us measurement system is stupid -schoolhouse rock -amtrak trains

Imagine if during the final fight in The Last Olympian when Kronos injures Annabeth (and subsequently jerks Luke’s consciousness to the surface) he slashed her across the face and when she looks up at Luke, she now has a gash through her eye that mirrors his own scar and he has to see the face of the little girl he protected and who always believed in him now bearing a mark like the one he always felt so bitter about and it’s HIS fault (and then in the aftermath she has an eye scar as a reminder of him every time she looks in the mirror)

Tumblr really is the only website where making a popular post is the equivalent of having rocks thrown at you. Everyone else is enjoying it but here you are getting the shit kicked outta you

Okay, update:

So, the day after i posted this, my friend and i completely covered the board in angry/threatening Taylor Swift lyrics while everyone else was eating lunch. At the end of the day, we found that someone had erased streaks of it, and so we had to try to fix it. My friend got a picture, but she hasn’t sent it to me yet.

That night, I compiled an eight page list of T.S.’s most poetic lyrics from all ten of her albums, and brought it to school the next day, prepared to write them on the whiteboard. Unfortunately, there was a staff meeting in the library during lunch, so we were unable to complete our plan at that time. BUT we were able to do it the next day. We completely filled up the board with neatly written lyrics, all of which were beautifully written by the one and only Taylor Swift. 

We plan to continue writing Taylor Swift lyrics on literally anything until certain people in our school stop insulting her. Wish us luck!

story time: a ton of people at my school are sick currently. Like. A ton. So, someone wrote “Sick” on the whiteboard in the library. Well, when i saw that, i immediately thought of the bridge of Shake It Off (you know, “This. Sick. Beat…”). And so, as one does, I, along with a friend of mine who happens to also be a Swiftie, walked over to the whiteboard, picked up a marker, and wrote “this” above “sick”, “beat” below it, and then “my ex man brought his new girlfriend” etc. below that. And then, i went to class. 

Well, at the end of the day, i was in the library, and saw that someone had erased the Taylor Swift lyrics from the whiteboard. Incredibly miffed, i went over to the whiteboard with the aforementioned Swiftie friend, and wrote the following:

To whoever erased the Taylor Swift lyrics:

Karma’s on your scent like a bounty hunter, karma’s gonna track you down.

Sincerely, The Swifties

Very proud of ourselves, my friend and I then left the whiteboard, and then she had to leave, so it was just me. 

AND THEN this guy decided to up and VANDALIZE my message, writing things like “Karma’s just a superstition” and “Who is Taylor Swift”, and drawing pictures of the sun (he has a very specific way of drawing the sun, which includes giving it a smiley face). So I, naturally, went up to where he had written “Who is Taylor Swift?” and wrote beneath it “the music industry. Who are you?” And then he draws his little sun underneath that. 

And so, I’m compiling a list of Taylor Swift lyrics to write on the board tomorrow. Any suggestions are much appreciated. I’ve had a stroke of genius, in the form of remembering “Untouchable” in which the lyric “untouchable, burning brighter than the sun” is featured (remember, his symbol if you will is a sun). But yeah, if you have any suggestions, let me know.

upon much further thought, this statement is being amended. It’t evermore vibes, not folklore. There’s a fine line between those two vibes and i made a mistake in my sleep-lacking state.
