buckle up y'all because this one is messy.

It hadn't been long since his mother had passed away, his once warm home felt so desolate and empty. His father had become more and more withdrawn, and he was quickly slipping into some habits he knew he couldn't get out of.

His father, sensing his sons desperation and how he was withdrawing from everyone, ended up calling over a family friend from when he was younger in hopes of bringing up his spirit. Sophia. Unfortunately, this could not have been a worse decision.

He cried to her, feeling the connection of having someone he's known since he was younger, though- drifted apart from, finally back in his life to experience the grief with him.

Feeling his pain, she decided to offer him a little "pick me up." Not having any better ways to numb his pain, he figured he wouldn't protest, and hey, it's natural, right?

And one thing lead to another.

And another.

Until she convinced him to go to some seedy bar in the middle of the night, his father trusting that his son was in good company, they slipped out and snuck their way into a shitty part of town.

Of course, Sophie couldn't help herself, she set up a camera and started taking pictures of the two of them together, slipping a quick post between their hasty kisses and drunken laughter.

Unfortunately, she was a little too bitchy, and ended up crossing the line with him, as attracted as they were to each other, his quickly sobering mind realized that she wasn't the person he remembered her as, and she stormed off back home.

Getting caught by her sister sneaking back in, she ended up getting completely grounded.

And lets just say... on Natsumi's side, things were getting a bit dramatic.

she loves her dad, but sometimes trying to talk to him about anything emotional beyond "i'm sad" goes nowhere.

with sumire starting a mid-life crisis, sleeping next to her husband every night is getting harder and harder, she can't stand to even look at him most of the time.

the next morning, they had a day off school, natsumi wanted to do anything but be in the house, so she planned a karaoke trip with the girls!

She had her fill of fun with her cheer friends, she still wasn't quite ready to go home.

So she ended up calling up a friend, and going for boba for a couple hours with him. :)

but it seems he's not the best influence.

natsumi's social life is absolutely buzzing right now.

after going to the park to take her mind off of her home life, she ended up meeting mia at the park, she had seen her on her first day of school, and realized that another sim she met also had the same last name. but she couldn't quite put her finger on who it was.

for her second day of school, she chose to gussy up and do her makeup, she needed a little pick-me up, and perhaps the attention she'd get at school would make up a bit for how hollow she felt at home.

arriving, she ended up meeting a lot more people than she did the first day.

and particularly hit it off with a guy she found cute. and ended up actually finding the brother of mia- matias, who she spoke to before.. which, she also ended up finding him cute too. jesus, girl. two in one day!

during lunch, she got lucky and hit it off with the popular crowd, being invited to hang out with them due to her being so sweet- though she still felt like an outsider. all of these people knew each other for ages before she came, and they all do sports together.

but in better news, youngsoo, the guy she found absolutely stunning, gave her a hug at the end of the day, but something about him spells trouble, and she cant quite put her finger on what. maybe it's the blondie orbiting around him every lunch period.

by the end of the day, she was cooking with her mom while her father went out on a run, and was trying to build up the courage to ask to be allowed to participate in sports despite their tight money situation.

there's so many things constantly going wrong, it makes natsumi dread coming home from school.

worse, sumire can't quite keep from taking a few shots just to take the edge off. which, isn't faring well for anyone in the household.
