Sorry if this is a uncomfortable question (in which case feel free to ignore) but what made you stop making pokemon artwork? Just curious since youre reuploading your old works

I couldn't see where the story went, I was relying too much on external factors like the meta narative & different characters that do not serve well for story function that to continue would mean to head into a brick wall. I wasn't very thoughtful when I made this, so I stopped before it got worse. Sure it was fun, but it's such a terrible execution that it was difficult to reel back. At the time too, I wasn't very good at telling stories. It was my first time doing anything major, alas... it has been done. Sensitive topics deserve to be treated with knowledge & respect, I don't think I did most of it justice. I needed more experience, so I stopped before I could make any bad moves that could destroy the entire thing. At the time too, I always felt like a fake pokemon fan because I only thought about Ingo & Emmet. I still think the same now, and I still think I'm technically a fraud in every fandom because I always run to create an AU, that would only specifically cater to me. I also didn't want to mischaracterize or flanderized these characters any further, even if they're to the point of being their own thing. I was indulging to much, yeah it was nice, but it wasn't really "them" anymore. I hope someday in the future I think my current reasoning to being a fraud is invalid, because I know in my heart nothing I said was really true. For now, I'm very glad to use those projects as experiments and stepping stones on future endeavours.

Though, I must admit. Emmet is still my no 1 favourite white boy.

I have him in my other AUs now, he feels comfy & safe whenever I put him through the AUs. You can even say he's my comfort character.

felt like sharing that a dream I had a few nights ago had what i think was your au prismo design in it. I haven’t even followed this au much, just seen it in tags n stuff, so my brain just thought of it as just normal prismo in a physical body.

In the section of dream he appeared in I was apparently Scarab (not any au, just basic show scarab) and i was tall enough that I had to look down to see Prismo, then he fucking pinned me to the wall, flirted, and then just walked away.

It was especially weird to me bc I generally think of myself as liking Scarab more than prismo but idk maybe it’s been sneaking into kin territory.

sorry if sharing any of this is weird, i thought it was funky that it was a prismo design i know little about lol

Sounds like CD Scarab's messing people with his experiments again. Probably a cognitohazard leak from one of his machines, that or CD Prismo memetics effects got to you. Either way uhhh try putting up a metallic lamb, a star catcher and aj empty open book when you sleep. You might catch something with it

Chaotic period, I read Fujimoto's Look Back & Goobye Eri, I was so enamoured by his paneling style, I tried to emulate it. I may not have been the best, not sure why I made these looking back, but the only thing I remember now was how fun it was to make it. The implications? Not so much
