August 21: Four of Vessels Boredom. What a terrible, awful, draining feeling. The experience of boredom is one I have been contemplating a lot lately. Part of the reason I have been less active on Instagram is boredom; sure the last few months have been busy, but boredom has filled my free time and zapped all of my will. More qualified people can explain the planetary factors that influence ennui, but what I know for sure is that boredom is a part of the human experience. It doesn’t matter if your boredom is caused by lack or excess. Boredom can seep into your life regardless of your environment or state and cause you to re-examine what you’re doing. This is the challenge and the gift of boredom. Rediscovery and enthusiasm can easily follow this period, if you just put forth the effort to reinvigorate your mentality.
