Card of the day - 3 of swords.

You must feel the feelings of heartbreak in order to move past it.

Years ago I was bitten by my pet snake. It left a perfect mouth shaped scar on my hand. It may have been a little sore but didn't hurt that much more than any other scar that I had at the time. It was, however, was a constant reminder that I had been bitten. One day, my husband was looking at my hand and explains to me that it never healed properly.

Snakes have little teeth that break off when they bite something or someone. These teeth were still stuck in my hand which had caused the bike mark scar. We took an hour or two and he removed every single tooth splinter one by one. It was painful and uncomfortable, But a few days after was done my hands healed properly. Now 3 years later you couldn't even tell that I was bitten. The moral of the story is that you have to remove the swords from your heart and order for your heart to heal completely; It's uncomfortable and painful, but it's the only way to truey heal.

🔮DAY 24 - FIVE OF PENTACLES🔮 I promise you, that when you find yourself here, things are better than they seem. ♥️ Perhaps you have been frozen out by a friend. Perhaps you’ve lost a source of income. Maybe your health has taken a back seat for too long and you feel in need of support. In these shadow moments it can be difficult to reach out to another, not wanting to be a burden or be the one complaining. My apparent resilience in the face of challenges throughout my life has been a result of supplication, faith in the divine beneficience and surrender to positive outcomes. Be assured I am as capable of worry, anxiety and catastrophising as the next person, but I talk to myself, nurture and practice my way out of it to a state of gratitude. It is f*****g cold outside, but there is a light at the window. Knock on that door. Find a friend, even if that friend is you. At the end of the day if you can’t be a friend to yourself who can be? Consider the possibility that everything is temporary. These are passing moments. Things will get better. Knowing that, gather and organise what you have, wrap up warm and keep moving through those snow drifts.
