Azerothian Botany - Laden Mushroom

This fast-growing fungus can only be found near the northernmost oasis in the Barrens [Quest: Who’s Shroomin’ Who?]. Its spores have properties that the undead apothecaries of Lordaeron find very useful [Quest: Fungal Spores]. It is not clear what those so-called properties are, but one apothecary is known to have mixed the spores with some reagents into a mixture that causes painful symptoms on contact such as rashes, itching, nausea, burning of the eyes, stinging, and choking, among other things [Quest: In Fungus We Trust].

In a nutshell? Insufferable zealots.

There are exceptions, he's sure. But his general experience and outlook on the Lightforged is that they're disconnected from reality, focused entirely too heavily on only one notion of what it means to be good and honorable, and generally sort of self-righteous pricks. He has no desire to engage in theological discussion with them, no desire to be looked down upon as a Lightless savage who consorts with fel-tainted monstrosities, and no desire to justify himself to a people who, while very helpful, have been isolated and singleminded and single-purposed for millennia.

He's not had a good time with them, let's say.
