So the company we paid to have help us clear our house out when we moved charged us 5 times.

so instead of $450, which we budgeted for, they charged us $2,250.

so i currently have 63 cents left in my bank account and nothing in my pantry or fridge.

since i planned to just grocery shop once we finished unpacking everything. 🫠

we're working on getting a refund from the company, but they're saying it'll be 3-5 business days. which sucks.

Hooray adulting.

So I'm opening up my commissions while we get this mess figured out. but even then, that might take several business days. because ✨capitalism ✨ so commissions;

I do tell my clients that once I'm past the sketch phase of the commission, for half the commission price up front. so I'm not getting fucked over with finishing a piece and they back out or take it and run. so if that's not something you can do, then I'm not interested in working with you. sorry. 🤷‍♀️

super wishful thinking but i wish bethesda would show multiple different heroes in the promo material for tes games... especially cause i hate the way teslore dumbasses have this stupid idea in their head of a "canon" ldb or nerevarine and i wish for once there could've been promo art of the nerevarine as an argonian or khajiit, just to kick some dirt in their faces LOL.

im sure there's practical reasons as to why there's only "one" design for the protag in promo material, because designing and animating a guy is Hard and doing it for a whole new Guy is even harder. but. again. in a perfect world, tes 6 would have promo material where in each one the protagonist is a different race, a different class, gender, to show that the "canon" protagonist... is whoever you made them. not, "Okay you played as a khajiit girl in skyrim but we all know the REAL ldb is a generic nord guy--"

this has been keeping me up at night. the graybeards are old men. there are (excluding paarthurnax) only four of them. their ancient order is dying out. they probably took in ulfric in order to impart to him their monastic tradition and pass their philosophy down to the next generation of nords. and instead of remaining at high hrothgar in the life of contemplation that he'd chosen for himself ulfric spent over a decade learning all he could from the graybeards of the thu'um and then went back down the mountain and started blowing people up with his voice. and arngeir has nothing to say about it

Elder Scrolls: Possible portrait of Akaviri Potentate.

The tradition of depicting tsaesci in a thoroughly anthropomorphic fashion, may actually predate the "damnatio memoriae" issued against this race (once proudly prolific in all the upper echelons of imperial society) in the aftermath of dissolution of Akaviri Empire. One, after all, understands the need to assuage the apprehension of the populace being governed by creatures the sources describe as towering, eel-like and vampiric. And given the texts (having gone through stringent censorship) have been allowed but a momentary candor to suggest decidedly serpentine features of Akaviri Potentates—we should deny ourselves the comfort of this "conventionally monstrous" interpretation. I for one am not prepared to dismiss the notion of them having four arms, especially in relation to a passage lauding Savirien Chorak's ambidextrous wielding of swords. I am 99.9% certain those succulent little morsels (boiled creme treat) in skyrim are based off of some variant of vatrushka so theoretically I should be able to recreate them by just making vatrushka and replacing the cheese with custard

instead of banishing the dragonborn for killing paarthurnax the greybeards should refuse to let you leave high hrothgar because you absorbed his knowledge. they confine you to the top of the mountain and throw a rack of ribs up to you on occasion. you have to be paarthurnax now

downloaded a mod that makes your character's face dirty and bloody after pitched battles (not unlike the similar feature in baldur's gate) and i didn't realize that it includes npc reactions to your character. entirety of the thieves' guild just turned in their seats like "WHOOOA IT'S A TOUGH GUY. TOUGH GUY'S NEVER MET A BAR OF SOAP"
