hey that post you made about google docs deleting stuff? that was debunked. i mean there are other reasons you should switch but you don't have to worry that they're going to remove your stuff before you do. just thought you should know!

Yeah somebody else said the same thing, thanks for letting me know! I do know that google do remove works at random for perceived TOS violations and they use it to train AI so worth moving things over anyway! I've swapped to Ellipsus now and I'm really enjoying it :)

Also, ok, so i know I literally just sent something in abt me going completely fucking insane abt the new chapter (which is still happening btw) but also I’ve been reading through your blog as I tend to do after an update and there’s a lot of yearning discussion going on can I just say, this might be a bit strange and unusual of me, but is it wrong that I don’t want them to confess??

it’s not that I don’t want them to be together, I want them both to be very happy forever and always!! I think they deserve it at this point, but I don’t know,, yearning is always my favourite part of romances and I don’t know why but every single time there’s a confession it’s kind of like,, OK that’s cool I guess, but can we go back to yearning?

Like, what if you rip them apart again just to see them yearn for each other again? As like a silly little thought excitement and for no other reason?? what if,, what if miscommunication trope? Kind of a hot take but I kind of like miscommunication trope if only to draw out the yearning???

Like yeah, the craving someone and wanting them deeply and desperately is really really cool when you’re able to have them but like. It’s so much better when they’re not together yet. And it’s so good and so well written in MTB and it may be a bit evil of me but I do not want it to end <33

I know exactly what you mean! I find my interest wanes once the couple gets together in the fic too, so I understand!

One of the most beneficial things about the way MtB is set up is that there's a huge stretch of undocumented time/events that precede what happens in Spores, so even when they do get together, I'll still be able to write instalments of them pre-relationship, too. It's not like they'll get together and then everything just stops. There's potential to write pre and post fics about them too!

And besides, you didn't think I was just going to hand over a happy ending on a silver platter right at the start of this final fic, did you? 😏 You're gonna have to workkkkkkk for it! There will still be plenty of yearning and stuff before we get to all that.... Not too much, I'm not that evil, but enough to build the want!
