The social media crapstorm rn feels like some sort of middle school fakedeep teenage drama level of stupid. I thought we were meant to be entertained by dudes driving race cars and be impressed by their skill or lack thereof. But somehow it’s turned into some morality contest. The Lando haters on soc med are so fascinating. They:
1) expect him to do well but dismiss his talent and abilities;
2) hate on him if he does well, sometimes for really inane reasons;
3) hate on him if he doesn’t do well, because he should have done well but at the same time doesn’t deserve it;
4) hate on him for sth as silly as Driver of the Day. (If this isn’t satire I truly think these peeps need a more productive and less stressful hobby).
