This is an old comic, which is why the art is a bit shambles and horangi’s design is slightly different

Horangi isn’t trying to openly stare, but from where he comes from (and most Asian countries really), sh is so heavily stigmatised that he’s… curiously enraptured by könig’s scars?

And on the opposite side könig’s quite used to getting stared at, although a. Horangi is one of his closest friends, and b. he finds that Horangi doesn’t stare in a judgemental way, so König’s a lot calmer about it

If I were to redraw it tho I’d give König the anxiety premium and make him 7x more panicked 😂
