Unfortunate news
I'm putting Fated on hiatus. I want to focus on other things, and seen as I only have 7 followers, I doubt this can be a priority for me.
I may return this year, I may never return, but alas.
I'm sorry

Fated: A Puella Magi Story - Narumi Himura's Story: to be able to get along with people easier
"I decided I want to make that contract!" Narumi said, her voice possibly too quiet, as Mami, Madoka, and Homura were discussing something about how Homura is a magical girl already. Kyubey however, noticed, directing everyone's attention to the situation.
Narumi stood up from her seat.
"What would your wish be, Narumi Himura?"
"Kyubey, I would like my wish to be... to be able to get along with people easier!"
A bright light formed around Narumi and Kyubey, as Kyubey extracted a turquoise light from her.
Narumi whited out for a moment, when she came to, she saw Mami, Homura, and Madoka looking over at her, and a Soul Gem in her hand

Fated: A Puella Magi Story - Narumi Himura's Story: I'm an idiot, I can't even talk to people without annoying them
"I'm an idiot, I can't even talk to people without annoying them," Narumi told herself, so clouded by guilt that she didn't notice the environment changing changing around her, "Nobody likes me..." Narumi thought, soon hearing another voice, "Maybe it would be better if you just died," it told her, "It would be better..." Narumi repeated, "That's right, you should just die," the voice telling her in a mocking way, but soon, Narumi would snap out of her trance and realise where she was, everything looked like a demented painting.
Something formed before her, it looked like a tower, with strange humanoid figures limping towards her
Narumi was shocked, but would soon see three silhouettes towards her attacking the entity, with bullets, arrows, and ribbons launching towards it before destroying it.
Narumi turned around to see them, Homura and Madoka! The two girls she met that day! They were dressed in interesting outfits alongside another girl with blonde hair in twin drills.
As the world went back to normal, the blonde girl turned to Homura, "I'm impressed," she told her, "It's like you knew what to do!"
Homura, Madoka, and the girl they were with turned and noticed Narumi. Homura and Madoka smiled, "Miss Himura!" "Hi Narumi!"
Madoka turned to the blonde girl, "Mami, this is Narumi Himura, she's our new classmate alongside Homura! I don't think she's a magical girl as well, but she seems nice!"
Narumi waved at the blonde girl, who she figured was named Mami, but then a white cat creature, who Narumi would figure is named Kyubey, would approach her, "she would make for a great magical girl!" it said. Narumi was surprised, but willing to come visit Mami with the others for tea

most of the conversation the four had over tea was about Homura, as despite being new, she seemed to be an established magical girl, but they would occasionally mention Narumi. Despite this, she felt invisible, always listening, never speaking.
From the information Narumi collected, if she made a contract with Kyubey and became a magical girl, she could get any wish she wanted granted. That idea sounded nice...

disclaimer for Narumi's Story
it takes place in a timeline assuming Timeline 3 as seen in the series is multiple separate timelines, taking place after Homura starts using Yakuza weapons but before she ditches the "Moemura" look
The beginning will look somewhat verbatim to the first timeline, but with differences
also sorry for taking so long

Fated: A Puella Magi Story - Narumi Himura's Story: Prologue
The magical girl who can reset the timeline, but with every reset, something can change.
Among one of the early changes, Narumi Himura and her parents just moved to Mitakihara City. Narumi is a japanese middle school aged girl, she also had social issues (she is on the autism spectrum), which lead her to being homeschooled most her life. On her 14th birthday, her parents decided that she was ready for real school. She would begin going to Mitakihara Middle School for 8th Grade. Before her first day, she would be introduced to another transferring student, a girl with long dark hair in braids and glasses named Homura Akemi, she seemed confused and a bit surprised that Narumi was there.
But soon, the day would come.
After hearing the teacher rambling something about eggs and her love life, the two would hear the teacher tell the class about two new students joining for the rest of the semester.
"Come on in now Miss Akemi and Miss Himura!"
The two girls walked into the classroom, Homura seemed a lot more confident than she looked, like she's done this a dozen times, while Narumi felt anxious, seeing all those eyes on her, hearing whispers and murmurs, and seeing Homura, who she definitely thought would be a lot more nervous than her looking as excited as she was, made a pit in Narumi's stomach. I guess you can't judge a book ny it's cover, Narumi thought.
"Go ahead and introduce yourselves, starting with Miss Himura," the teacher said, the anxiety Narumi felt getting bigger,
"My, uh, my name is Narumi Himura... nice to meet you..." Narumi let out, worrying the class would make fun of her.
Then it was Homura's turn, "It's nice to meet you all! My name is Homura Akemi!" she said.
"Miss Himura had been homeschooled until now, and this is her first day of traditional school, so please give her a warm welcome," the teacher said, writing the names of the two on the whiteboard, 樋村なるみ and 暁美 ほむら , "and Miss Akemi was in the hospital for a while due to a heart condition, since she's been away from school for so long, she might also need some help adjusting, so let's all help them out, okay?" Homura would be looking at a girl in the class with pink pigtails.
After class, girls would be talking to Narumi and Homura, asking Homura about what school she went to and how she was able to braid her long hair, with Narumi being asked about what being homeschooled was like and if she ever got to talk to people, she was scared, all this human interaction felt alien to her.
Narumi would see the girl with pink hair approach Homura, and the two would leave the class. Narumi told the girls she had to go, taking off to follow them. From her knowledge, the Homura needed to go to the nurse for her medication, and the pink hair girl was the Nurse's Aid, but Homura seemed to know where she was going, but still following the other girl.
The girl would introduce herself as Madoka Kaname, and as soon as they were somewhere with no other students, Homura would show Madoka something, Narumi, not knowing she was being weird for following them, would quickly approach them, "what are you two talking about?" Homura flinched, but Madoka was a lot nicer, "Hi Narumi! Homura just wanted to show me something!"
Seeing Homura flinch at the sight of her made Narumi sad, feeling as if she fumbled at befriending Homura, but Madoka assured Narumi that everything was fine.
During the rest of the day, Narumi struggled, a lot of the stuff being taught was things she didn't learn in her homeschooling, and by the time Narumi was heading home, the fact she didn't see Madoka nor Homura made her feel even more lonely.

Fated: A Puella Magi Story - The tale of Lola Lavoie: I Don't Know
"I don't know."
"You don't know what you like!?" Audrey said in shock, "Well, for now, you can stay with me and Zoey."
Later that day, Audrey was making coffee for herself and chocolate milk for Zoey, "Hey, Lola, do you drink coffee?" Audrey asked Lola, who shook her head, "alright, I can make tea."
Lola sat on the couch, Zoey playing a puzzle game on a retro video game console.
"By the way, what were your guys' wishes?" Lola asked.
"Audrey got hurt bad and wished to live, some mean people from school were hitting her and she didn't like that!" Zoey told her, albeit most likely not knowing the full story, "I wished for a nice big dinner for my birthday last year!"
"Zoey and I are stepsisters," Audrey said, "My mom and her dad agreed to let me take care of her because they can't afford to."
After some time, Audrey and Zoey transformed, leaving the apartment, Lola transformed and followed them, where they would look for Witches, Lola almost forgetting her Soul Gem was corrupting
Audrey held her pistol, Lola, her sword, and Zoey, a parasol. Once they found a witch to fight, the trio would fight it. Audrey being able to use her pistol to jump higher by shooting it at the ground, and Zoey could shoot magic beams from her parasol, as well as use it as a shield and parachute.
they would inevitably triumph, er, at least Audrey and Zoey did, Lola would be getting constantly attacked by the witch and it's minions.
When Audrey shot the finishing blow, Lola was on the ground, her Soul Gem, the spade on her chest, being almost entirely blacked out. Lola could feel her environment changing.
Lola knew she could only do one more thing before her inevitable, which she assumed was death. Audrey and Zoey looked down at her, feeling guilty.
in another timeline, she would be saved by divine intervention, given a more peaceful end.

Fated: A Puella Magi Story - The tale of Lola Lavoie: turn her Soul Gem back from it's non ring form and let Audrey see it
Audrey inspected Lola's Soul Gem, and her face of concern turned quickly into shock.
"Please tell me you have a grief seed with you..." Audrey said in desperation, noticing how darkened Lola's Soul Gem has gotten, Lola nodded, revealing the grief seed she got when helping Helena. "PURIFY YOUR SOUL GEM!" Audrey yelled as if Lola's life depended on it, to which Lola quickly did, but it wasn't able to purify it all.
Audrey gasped in shock, "FFFFFFU-" she quickly turned around to see Zoey, "Zoey! Is the spare bedroom ready?"
"Yep!"
Audrey brought Lola into the apartment and into the spare bedroom, Kyubey would follow, but Audrey and Zoey would exchange knowing glances, with Zoey bringing Kyubey to the living room where she would play with him like the cat he resembled.
"Kid, what's your name?" Audrey asked, "Lola, Lola Lavoie," Lola would answer.
"Okay, Lola, has anything bad happened to you recently?"
"My parents who I wished to resurrect have been being pretty awful to me, then one of my friends killed my other friend and I had to kill them, so I ran away and now I'm here."
"Okay, that grief seed, how did you get it?"
"A witch me and my friend Helena fought, after she killed my best friend Val."
Audrey took everything Lola said in, making conclusions internally, before telling Lola some dark truth.
"Lola, I hate to say it, but you might have a curse," she began, "with all the despair you have, it's corrupting your Soul Gem."
"What will happen if it fully corrupts it?"
Audrey hesitated, "you'll die."
Lola was in shock, "Is there anything I can do that will stop the curse?"
Audrey hesitated again, uncertainty in her voice, before asking Lola a question.
"What is something you like?"

Fated: A Puella Magi Story - The tale of Lola Lavoie: run away from home, search for other magical girls
Lola went to her room, Kyubey on her shoulder and a big purple suitcase in hand, packing her clothes, tech, and toys into it.
"What are you doing?" Kyubey asked, Lola answering him, "packing my things, running away. Do you know where any other magical girls are?" to which Kyubey nodded.
Lola would leave her house late at night, her backpack she once held school books in, she now held her most cherished possessions and 30 euros, all the money she had.
She would follow Kyubey, who would lead her to someone's apartment, Lola knocked at the door. "Hello? Kyubey lead me here to you."
The door opened, but Lola was greeted to a young child with green hair and a blue sweater, the kid looked no older than 12
"Um...." the girl pointed at the ring on Lola's finger, "You're a magical girl too!" the girl showed her hand, with a similar ring, her finger showing a triangle, she would then head inside, calling to someone.
"Audrey! Audrey! There's another magical girl! She has purple hair!"
"Zoey, what are you talking about?"
an older woman, had to be much older than Lola, probably 18, approached her, this must be Audrey, and the younger one must be Zoey
Audrey looked at Lola with concern.
"Let me see your Soul Gem," she demanded, but with a bit of unexpected nervousness in her voice.

Fated: A Puella Magi Story - The tale of Lola Lavoie: transform and look around
Helena transformed into her Magical Girl form, and explored the labyrinth, she knew this had to have been a witch, but she didn't know how it got here or what happened to Val. She heard loud screeching music, and saw that creatures that looked like walking boomboxes holding spraycans were spraying graffiti art around the place, Helena stabbed them, each stab would silence the music, but she knew a witch had to be here. The labyrinth looked like a run down nightclub with abstract walls, Helena saw multiple of those boombox minions as well as scribbly humanoid minions, which were causing commotion to Helena. She stabbed through each of them in search for the witch.
Lola's break has broken, the hero of the story may finally return, we hope you enjoyed this brief intermission.
Lola came rushing in, "Helena! Where's Val?" she asked with fear and concern in their voice, only for the witch to rise from the ground.
Lola and Helena pulled out their weapons and began to fight it, but it would keep summoning spikes and loud music, until Lola did something she never did before, throw her sword directly at the witch, ultimately destroying it.
As the Labyrinth vanished and they were back in the alley, Lola picked up the grief seed, then she looked at Helena with angry suspicion.
"Where's Val?"
Helena, just as confused as Lola, instead lied, "she... she died while I was fighting the witch..."
Lola saw through the lies, saw through Helena's sudden aloofness, and showed rage for the first time. "YOU LYING PIECE OF CRAP! YOU KILLED HER!"
"No! I didn't! I-"
Lola didn't care, she plunged her sword into Helena's Soul Gem, shattering it. The life vanished from Helena's eyes as she detransformed, her body going limp as she falls to the ground.
Lola quickly detransformed, realizing the weight of her actions.
Val was dead, she just KILLED someone, not just brutalize, ACTUAL MURDER. Lola was a murderer.

Fated: A Puella Magi Story - The tale of Lola Lavoie: Stab Helena in the stomach (subdue her)
In a panic, Lola plunged her sword into Helena's stomach, making her collapse to the ground. Val sighed in relief while Helena was unconscious. Val turned to see Lola, wanting to warn this young magical girl what she's gotten into, but she couldn't quite get herself to say it.
Over the past few weeks, Val and Lola would team up and fight witches, but Val would hardly ever purify her Soul Gem, not to mention she would also repeatedly put her life in jeopardy, leaving her Soul Gem vulnerable and cheating death.
Sometimes Helena would join them, but she would often fight them, being hostile towards Lola and possessive towards Val.
Two drastic events would happen in one day however.
One day, Lola's mom told her she needs to dress more like a woman, as she is growing up and needs to show it. She would start giving Lola more grown up clothing, longer dresses, sweaters that were barely sweaters, and neutral or faded colors, it made Lola resentful and sad.
A brief divergence, Lola Lavoie is not doing much yet, but Helena Bannister is. Lola may be the titular character, but Helena is important now.
Meanwhile that night, Val and Helena were at an alley together, Val seemed empty, emotionless, hood on and spraying graffiti on an unsuspecting building. Helena curiously asked what Val was doing, now concerned for her safety.
"Making my suicide note," Val said sarcastically, a much more disturbing hyperbole than her typical sarcasm, "I'M DOING GRAFFITI WHAT THE HELL DOES IT LOOK LIKE I'M DOING!?"
"O-oh... I just wanna say, it may seem like I'm a sick freak, but, seeing you hurt this way really upsets me!" Helena said, hugging Val and pulling her hood down.
"You have no feelings, you see me as an object of desire, and I hope one day I tear you apart, I want to tear ALL OF YOU APART! I WON'T FORGIVE YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ANNA!" Val yelled, starting to cry. Helena noticed Val's soul gem had nearly fully darkened.
"What about Lola?"
"Lola? I hope Lola kills you."
Val suddenly collapsed in pain, looking at Helena in agonized rage before closing her eyes. Helena saw Val's Soul Gem change, a light consumed the alleyway, and the environment shifted.

Fated: A Puella Magi Story - The tale of Lola Lavoie: Fight For It.
Lola transformed again, pulling out her sword. "May the best fighter win it."
Val felt shocked, this dumb rookie wanted to fight her! Oh well, she thought, transforming, before the two began to battle, whips and swords clashing, sometimes they would get hits on eachother, but it would not be long until Lola had stabbed Val in the chest, causing her to fall to the ground.
Val, seemingly on the cusp of death, looked at Lola and laughed, she pulled the sword out of her chest, handing it back to Lola.
"We're magical girls, we can't kill eachother like humans." Val said, her Soul Gem glowing as her wound healed itself.
"I should have told you this, Kyubey should have told you this. You can stab me all you want, but as long as my Soul Gem is intact, I can't die, neither can you," she chuckled briefly, getting up, "you didn't know that, but the fact you were still willing to kill me shows you have what it takes. You win."
Val handed Lola the grief seed, she would promptly detransform and purify her Soul Gem with it, placing the grief seed next to it. That morning, after waking up too early, Lola decided to ask for some confirmation with Kyubey.
Kyubey would confirm that yes, her Soul Gem was her entire essence, and her body is just a puppet controlled by it. Which is why both she and Valerie can let their bodies be destroyed and still be alive and well.
Lola felt shocked, and would take the rest of the day at school to let it all in, she's her soul gem, not her body... her body is a puppet, a lifeless entity that only moves because of her soul gem. She also had to grasp the fact she was willing to kill Val, that murder has become an option for her...
She didn't even realize she never saw Val.
It wouldn't be until Lola visited the park that she saw them
"Helena! Why would you kill her!? You knew I was in love!" Val shouted, "Killing my girlfriend will not make me love you back you sicko!"
"Because, my Valentine," the girl Val was fighting, Helena, said, "she was nothing, she could never be a magical girl, she HAD to die."
Helena wielded her knife, clashing with Val similar to how Lola clashed earlier.
Lola transformed and ran towards the two.
"Aw, look who it is," Helena said, looking at Lola, "Did you get yourself another girlfriend? Do I have to kill her too?"
Val gasped in offense, "SHE IS 13 YOU WEIRDO!" Val shouted, deeply disturbed by the concept of herself dating someone younger than her.
"Stay with me, Valentine my love, we can run away together," Helena said, "Stop calling me Valentine!" Val shouted.
Lola looked at Val and noticed the spiral shape of her Soul Gem, which was on her left hand, had gotten darker.
