"Hold still."

Even with the AC unit on, it was far too hot in her office. The windows were closed to keep the excessive heat out... and she was stuck playing a model for him. One hand under her chin as instructed, the other fanning herself and ruining his perfect image.

"It's too hot to keep still. I have run out of iced coffee as well." She replied nonchalantly, almost deadpan.

"Please, I am not even finished with your pose! An artist must have patience and perseverance." His hand moved slowly upon his notebook, yet his mind ran a marathon, heart racing with anticipation. "As my model, you must--"

Before he could finish that sentence, his free hand was taken hostage by hers, causing him to freeze for a moment as it landed on her cheek. Still cold... but retaining some of the summer heat.

"...." Sighing, he cupped her cheek fully this time. "Are you satisfied now?"

"Ah... yes. Very. I promise I will be as still as a statue." A chuckle escaped her while he retracted it and got back to his work.

"Oh, of course! Please don't worry so much about it. I don't mind." She walked over to her bag sitting on one of the tables there, and took out a pair of pink gardening gloves. It's obviously not Ryuji's color, however, she doubted he would mind all that much. Once she got them, she gave them to the boy, still smiling brightly.

"Here you are. As for shopping, that's a wonderful idea! In fact, I am free today if you want to go together. Perhaps we can find a small plant for you to care for as well?" She giggled, making a light joke.

Initially, he had hung back - although he wanted nothing more than to dive in and help but he wasn't sure if he'd be making things worse and accidentally end up ruining and crushing one of her cherished plants. "A-Ah...!" His eyes lit up as Haru directed him to one of the little eggplant plants and almost immediately, he eyed the little plant with an almost reverent look, vowing to give it the best damn care, he could...! Taking some of the mulch in his hands, he gives an almost shy nod as he realizes - he hadn't even brought his own supplies...! How embarrassing...! "Would you mind lending a spare pair if you got one? If not, I can use my hands..." He didn't want to take away her only pair of gloves. "...'m sorry, I should've come more prepared to help you out - but maybe..." He pauses, his voice almost uncertain and tentative - shy, even. "...Sometime we can go shopping for proper supplies, maybe...? So that way you don't have to keep lending me yours..."

Day 1 - Fine Food! After this she probably heartily attempts to encourage him to keep his diet healthy and body strong to boost his fighting energy, but there's not much he can do about it💔

"There you are! I've been looking all over for you!" Chie ran up to him with a wave of her hand, and upon stopping to catch her breath, showed him a plastic bag of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. While a normal birthday cake would've been more appropriate, she figured he would at least appreciate her efforts.

"I made these! I followed the recipe, so I hope they're... edible." She mumbled, still recalling that awful cook-off. They weren't the most presentable, but she spent hours making them with some help from her parents. "Happy birthday, Yosuke." She flashed him a quick and sincere smile.

Another year older and marching towards death, a pessimistic soul would say. Luckily, Yosuke wasn’t that sort of guy—for now, at least—so he welcomed his birthday with open arms. Presents were always welcome, but he wasn’t going to get in people’s faces about it or display how desperate—not that he was!—he was for one.

Somewhere quiet was the perfect venue to be surprised by a present, and well, that’s what happened.
