I know I haven't been on much lately, is like to do a bit of an update soon because ooh boy. This post is mainly for potential need in the future. The last week I've been feeling super uncomfortable while sitting at my desk, which is right in front of the window. The room is in the front of the house and I can see out onto the street from where I sit. Whenever I look out there I don't really see anybody but you know that feeling of being watched; it's eerie. I thought I was being super paranoid and crazy. I'd never had that feeling at my desk before so it wasn't just because I was by a window facing the street. Last week I noticed a dark car go by my house and slow down a few times in the middle of the afternoon. I thought it was somebody trying to find a friends house, but the fourth time I saw a similar car (I can't say it was the same car because it was nighttime but it was a small dark car and appeared to be very similar) it was later that night and it parked across from the house and sat there for a few minutes off before they turned it back on and left. Still didn't think anything weird. It was maybe the next day or the day after when I was at my desk and saw a black truck (will try to find a pic of a similar make) park across the street. A blonde woman in a black power suit got out and walked over to our house and rang the bell. My grandma was home and answered and the woman apparently asked for a neighbor. When she was told she was at the wrong house my grandma said she just kind of walked off. I saw her walk towards the neighbor but get in her car maybe 15 seconds later and drive away. I think she was checking if people are home during the day. Still, I thought I was being crazy and paranoid, until a few nights ago. It was after dinner and I was at my desk and the rest of my family was in the den. My dad went out somewhere and after I saw his car pull out I finished what I was editing (took about 8-10 minutes) and went downstairs to see what my mom was up to. As I came down the stairs there was a big guy in a large red jacket standing outside our front door hunched over like he was trying the handle. I had already walked by the door when my brain figured out what I saw and I froze, but when I took a few steps back to the door the guy was gone. The light went on in our backyard after I walked into the den but I think if he tried to come around back he probably saw the lights on and went away. Still, I honestly thought I had made him up. I was so confused and it was fucking with my head for days. I've been beating myself up trying to figure out if it was somebody trying to break in or just somebody looking for the right house number idk. Anyway, today my neighbor calls and tells my parents that some guy has been spotted trying to break into houses on our street. I've been trying to hide how shaken I am all day. I am home alone nearly all day, and my grandma is home alone all morning. I'm so nervous I don't know what to do. The police already know about the issue but I feel like I'm just waiting for somebody to break in.

I know I’ve been missing but I’ve been super busy with a project. That being said, does anybody have any good writing links? Fun fact my boyfriend plays this game called Magic the gathering at this comic book store and I started going with him and we noticed that the other guys started saying really sexist and offensive things around me since I’m the only girl so he immediately took me home and taught me how to play so now I go there to play and beat all of them.

Dear everyone who says “Oh it doesn’t matter who I vote for, Trump will never win”… it does matter. It absolutely does matter.

Britain gave in to the racist and xenophobic rhetoric. And the consequences to the EU - and to the world at large - will be catastrophic.

I don’t care if you hate Hillary. I don’t care if you think Hillary killed your cat and stole your yogurt. I don’t care. You have to vote for her. You HAVE to vote for her. You cannot allow a megalomaniac racist piece of shit like Donald Trump become the President of the United States of America.

Do not give in to fear and hatred. Do not allow xenophobia and bigotry to run this nation. Do not. Do not. Do not.

I never thought I’d see the day where a nation like Great Britain allowed hatred and fear to rule. Don’t let that happen here.

I kind of wish disney’s ~weird period~ had lasted longer. Like all of a sudden we were getting these films like lilo & stitch and Atlantis and the emperor’s new groove and treasure planet and they were so fun and DIFFERENT. Just thinking about what the pitches for those movies had to have been like is so surreal?? A little blue criminal alien crash lands on a Hawaiian island and gets adopted by two sisters dealing with social services that teach him about the value of family. An Inca emperor gets turned into a llama and john goodman helps him get back to his palace and one of the bad guys talks to squirrels. Treasure island but in SPACE. Like, on the surface, the premise for these films seem so random but they all TOTALLY WORKED IN REALLY GREAT WAYS??? idk I just really miss that early 2000s spark of offbeat creativity in Disney’s timeline.
