So I called the social lending company and they told me I need 6k in savings in order to borrow to buy a house.

ㅤㅤNow isn't that a contradiction. The reaction in itself is confounding, sometimes he wishes Empathy came with more information. Figuring it out might be a nice way to see just how easily she can be manipulated. People were ever so amusing when they find out that no matter how hard they tried to hide things, there was someone who could pick up on it with ease. If anything it could be a nice temporary distraction to him wanting to fuck with her. So he stands there with a look of bafflement. Silently prompting her to explain why it's a contradiction.

ㅤㅤ"Don't find yourself in other worlds often?" He doesn't know a great deal about the multiverse. What little he does know he's found in different files & experienced through meeting a few mutants that were drastically different than those here.

ㅤㅤ"Ryouta." Sliding his hand into his pocket, Ryouta tilts his head back, his blue eyes giving her a direct inquisitive look. His body relaxes gradually, seeming lazier by the second. "Which do you prefer?"

"No, I don't believe so." It's the eyes -- she'd know those anywhere, anytime, and it sent a bit of a jolt through her which she hastily covered with a a loose, casual shrug. True to her upbringing she's found high ground, a spot above the goings-on to observe and assess before engaging.

"Then again, I don't get out much. Seems I keep running into people who know me, but not me. Very disorientating, I could have sworn I was some kind of multiversal anomaly." She grinned at him. "Clarice. Most folks call me Blink."

ㅤㅤ"I was being creative." A soft smile moves over Billy's lips, stepping closer his hands move to either side of his husbands head. Leaning against it as he holds in his laugh. "Here I thought that ring works best as a set." As if to prove it the hand with his own magical wedding band raises.

ㅤㅤLaughing lightly, Billy tilts his head downward, his dark eyes meeting Teddy's. "Green is a very distracting colour on you." His voice fills with mirth as he speaks. "... I refuse to wear white at court."

ㅤㅤㅤ"I thought it was supposed to be 'One Ring to rule them all'--" Teddy flops boneless onto the couch and hangs his head upside down over the back cushion, grinning at Billy. He holds up his left hand to brandish the wedding ring on his third finger, "-- Oh wait, I've got that, too."

ㅤㅤㅤAnd good thing he does, considering Wiccan is the one who keeps having to save him from these kidnapping and/or assassination attempts. Teddy offers his husband a winning smile, adding, "…are you sure you wouldn't prefer a Green Knight?"

ㅤㅤA low chuckle slips from his lips, blue eyes sparking with amusement. "I love you too, baby sister." He's half expecting her to pick on him in the next few seconds after the statement of love. The spark in his eye giving away the fact he's not at all serious. Sure, he could see about joining a team that goes to Avalon, but he's not that desperate to avoid therapy. "There's still Ninja's, there has to be knights somewhere."

ㅤㅤAmusement shines in Ry's blue eyes as he peers up at the young woman. "Have we met?" He is fully aware that they haven't, he in fact knows exactly who she is & who she's connected to. The fact she has that scent some have when they're displaced from their original Earth just confirms it. Not that he's going to say he knows right of the bat, then again there is a hint of knowledge held within his blue eyes. While he's not saying it, he's not going to hide it either.

ㅤㅤIf she doesn't notice he will definitely play on it, messing with someone with that kind of relation to Creed is dangerously tempting. Even if it's the wrong Creed. He's not even sure the Creed of his world would care. Not that Ryouta's going to behave himself.
