Welp i'm wrong!
Turns out the marriage is between Quixate and The Principal, not the other thing.

- J-Anon
I dunno, the handbirds said Quixate was supposed to marry their Lady and as far as I know the Principal goes by "it" or "prince". Either way that plotline seems to have gone nowhere so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When I look back at the first part of Arc, Undertown with those handbirds needing Quixate for the marriage of their lady, I'm assuming the person in question would the one that some similar features to Quixate that was shown in Kuri's Toyhouse. They seemed to have romantic feelings or maybe it was The Principal. Leaning toward this thought here.
- J-Anon
Yeah, that's my best guess for who that is.
Since Quixate was asleep we don't have any idea how he feels about this marriage, although these pictures make it seem like he's fine with it. How does the Principal feel about it though? Not that I care about the Principal but I wonder if it'll be a source of drama.

i can’t remember if glip’s old pmd-e main location was called censtre. my memory isnt very reliable on this, but i do recall the terms “tao continent” and also “velle”, which was another continent from that world that didnt really get explored before the project ended. I THINK calling the pmd-e main place “cenastre” is something that was decided for this new (and… abandoned) pmd-e revival thing, but i cant be sure
also, i just wanna say this, because the burning theater ask reminded me of it: i hate these meta explanations for elements/plot points. Not saying at all that you’re wrong (i actually think your guess makes a lot of sense)… I just really hate how the reason for certain things in floraverse doesn’t seem to have an actual connection to what happens in-universe, but it’s just something ooc and is completely irrelevant to the plot… it’s just the author insisting it’s a big, important thing, and then… it amounts to absolutely nothing
maybe (hopefully) i’ll bite my own tongue when new updates come out and maybe we’ll at least finally find out why cenastre is on fire? I have no hope for the theater, though…
I'm not entirely sure, I didn't follow the PMD-E stuff too closely. I assumed since the revival of it was on Cenastre that the old one was also on Cenastre but I could be wrong! Tao Tower was mentioned before as being in PMD-E as well, but I don't remember a Velle. My knowledge of the PMD-E stuff is super fragmentary.
It can definitely be frustrating, especially when the meta elements supercede the actual plot events in the story. Glip loves meta fourth-wall breaking stuff, even when it makes the actual story totally incoherent. The whole MSPaint era was basically just that. Sometimes the only way something makes sense is if you know the real-life context that Glip doesn't give you. :/
It's not clear all what's going to happen with or on Cenastre at this point. The two pages about a soul in Cenastre seem to imply some kind of rebirth? Hard to say, the vibes of those pages is super weird right now.
That line in that fic is one of the best ways to describe what an angel is that's shown up in the entire Floraverse canon so far and Glip didn't even write it lol.

a couple of things that got my attention (i’m sure there’ll be more when i read it more attentively) in opa’s story
one, charthur remembers a siren going “do not engage in fighting if you are not a dewclaw resident or an angel, as war protections will not apply to you”. Like… aren’t the angels causing this whole thing? why would the dewclaw authorities (or whoever’s warning people) care about the safety of the angels? is this some kinda 4d chess play where they think the angels will reconsider their assault now that they know they might get seriously injured? help me understand this part, i beg you
and two, there’s a moment where charthur is thinking about the meaning of WAR, and it goes “it wasn’t supposed to be hearing the timbers of a theatre surrendering to the flames and collapsing”, which is… a reference to the play involving the troupe and mr 5, and it shows up in beleth’s and jupet’s story, and cenastre is on fire… why does this burning theater KEEP being referenced over and over again???
My guess is that declaring WAR puts in protections for both sides automatically, so for it to happen at all meant it had to apply to the angels too. It seems like it was a weird WAR though since people got injured pretty badly, so I'm not sure if the normal safeguards were in place. But it seemed like it was in-place enough to keep most people alive.
That stupid theater! My guess for that is that it's symbolic of the first story Glip tried to write before starting Floraverse, the one that's alluded to in the prologue. That story didn't work out so Glip trashed it, which is represented by the stage burning. Taking another step back though, if Cenastre was the old setting for PMD-E, Glip's old Pokemon RP on Devart that had its fair share of controversies, then it might also represent that whole thing and how it shut down. In that case, Cenastre would always be burning because no one can go back there (to the Pokemon RP) since they're in the new Floraverse world (continuation of Pokemon RP), and Min wanting to stop everything from burning would be trying to keep the Floraverse story from also getting shut down. How seeds relate to that I don't know, maybe as a metaphor for a growing world for RPers to use? Other people planting story/character seeds to keep the world alive? Which is funny since Glip flips out whenever anyone does anything with their setting or characters they don't like.
If I remember right, WAR is a magic ability that Turf Tigers have where two groups can fight about something, but all damage is massively reduced on both sides. So you can throw fireballs at people and only singe them, or kick someone in the throat and they'll just get a little stunned. Basically allows for anime battles without anyone getting really hurt. I'm not sure exactly how Tigers declare WAR but it does seem like they can involve anyone in it that wants to be in there, not just other Turf Tigers.

i don't know if this is of any help, but opa wrote a charthur/jasmaby fanfiction set during the 25 hr WAR that might shed the tiniest bit of light of how it went down; i don't think it explains how or why it happened, but my personal headcanon is that it was a big turf tiger war thing that blew up to cosmic proportions because of the events of circlet of the sun/alice's luneko journey
https://docs.google.com/document/d/15Zw4vXWj0hjDaJuNWvgIDnjCejlkHDd0CWMAEjrH93Y/edit?tab=t.0
apparently the world was ending, and angels were involved. It's interesting that (spoilers) they did manage to avoid the end of the world; i would've assumed that it would've turned out differently, considering the frequency shift to Eastar, but i guess the world doesn't have to end for a shift to happen and a new reality to set in?
A lot of very interesting tidbits in here that shed some light on things.
Charthur worked at Teslic Yard which is a bit of a surprise to me, although there were comics on the porn site of her being an experiment for Neon (Subject 28). People generally seem to know where Teslic Yard is, which was also odd to me since I thought it was a kind of mysterious place that was hard to track down, thus not very well-known, but eh.
There was an attack on Dewclaw by Angels led by Hothead (why?), and to try and mitigate it, Jasmaby declared WAR? on them, since WAR means no one can get seriously injured. That's why the titlecard for WAR? is Topside had Jasmaby and Hothead on it. It didn't completely work though because... ? Angels were involved? Anyway something was off about it so people did get badly injured and Dewclaw got decimated.
Topside has no experience with fighting angels at all, although Teslic Yard is familiar with them.
Charthur apparently resonated with Hothead and calmed them down enough to end the WAR?... I think.
We got some methods for fighting specific angels, although obscured in Charthur's rhymespeak. Nebuloss (who?) needs grounding, Shorthand needs to be shown what's broken, Static needs to be ticked off. To get an angel to hear you you have to match their feelings. When Charthur asks why they can't just punch or kick an angel, Xenon asks if you can beat depression by kicking someone in the butt.
Jamasby got nearly choked to death by Hothead at one point, which explains that one shot in The World Egg. He and Charthur both survived the WAR? though.
There's a warning that in 25 hours Dewclaw will dissolve during the WAR?, which is also something that showed up for a second in Arc, Undertown, which I assumed was much later. Raises a lot of questions about when anything is happening. Papaya's just probably hopping around the timeline though to be irritating. :/
Maya's one of Charthur's students and also explicitly a child, which makes Phesund painting weird pictures of her and using her even creepier in the Egg Change Dream Exchange VN. Quill is also one of Charthur's students.
Papaya's shop of cursed artifacts went up in flames with Dewclaw, leaving a "Sacrifice Zone". Not sure what that is.
None of this came up in either of the WAR is Topside VNs on the site I'm pretty sure.

Is it me or now do I have the feeling that Quixate's frequent involvement in the recent updates feel forced in some degree, like with the stories and stuff.
Don't get me wrong, it's nice to finally have a more coherent story, but Quixate feels out of place for a Flora character, especially when it's a new species that came out of nowhere.
- J-Anon
Quixate is definitely the most Specialest Boy at current and he seems to be the main focus of everything despite completely coming out of nowhere. When he's not angsting about his inexplicable relationship with the Principal (what does he see in it??) at least he's mostly fun, which is more than you can say for the majority of Glip's characters at this point. Everyone's such a navelgazing sadsack nowadays. He doesn't really seem to fit in with everyone though it's true, and Buchbrennerin also looks very weird. That could be Glip's fault if they came up with the original Kiwiface design and Kuri built off of that though.

Speaking of regards to the script of Synment, if Andre was confirmed to be an angel, then why does he hate his kind that much to the point of wanting to kill them? Thats kind of fucked up now that i've thought about it.
- J-Anon
It feels like a retcon, Andre never had trouble with anyone killing angels before when the comic was more coherent. In the Q+E series he's said he doesn't like Baphomet sending out people to fight angels because it kills his creations or treats them like cannon fodder, but not really much about how it's wrong to kill angels or anything. He moreso just doesn't want his work destroyed. He even scoffs at the idea of angels being able to be understood when asked.
The Principal even brings up how Andre's killed a whole bunch of angels before, but Quixate says that Andre didn't REALLY want to do it, which again seems like retconning.
It does say that Andre changed a lot in this VN and has done a turnaround on hating angels, and if this is set after the whole Althar RP, I guess that fits still with Synmet. And I guess Synmet is headed by Stolas and Gaap rather than Andre himself... it just feels odd though.
Angels are such a massive part of this comic and what they are and how they work is never consistent. :/

There are desc abt the religions as part of a channel for a "how-to" on making your Althar character https://postimg.cc/gallery/zVcRxkm Didn't feel like copy+paste everything in a seperate site - J-Anon
Some worldbuilding for them I suppose but still, very flimsy and vague. Basically formed around the Troupe, god damn them all. >:( But might as well do a quick summary for future reference.
Synmet - Worships Andre and Paige, focus on big united rituals focused around a feeling to make something happen (big ritual about Love to fix Andre's name). The most popular one. Hate angels and want to fight/kill them. Unbelievably enough, that stupid Suit Yourself doujin in-world that seemed like RPF about Amdusias and Pride apparently contributed hugely to Andre being seen as a god in Althar??? How is Suit Yourself continually plot relevant
Payayan - Worships Sample, obsessed with music and finding harmony and eliminating uncoordinated "noise". They want to save Angels. Yurayana believes in Payayan. Unpopular.
Psia'ago - Worships Chisel, I think. Believes creation leads to immortality. Respect nature and everything, sees Angels as equals. Led by Yevelle who we saw almost nothing of. Gaining popularity.
Zweitruity - Worships Double >:( Led by Razca who's a Lamia/Vampire I think which people are racist about. Did a ritual at one point that accidentally turned the practitioner into an Angel so people think it's dangerous and untrustworthy. Has the vaguest beliefs of all in that you look at the world for Truths and can find harmony with introspection and... that's it. Sees Angels as manifestations of the inner self and want to resonate with them. Most unpopular.
Clearly the most time was spent on Synmet, since Glip was roleplaying all the Gods in it. They're all very rudimentary though.
We got teased with Jasmaby and then nothing! Nothing!! Why would you do that!! UGhhh!! And apparently the 25hr War was really important too, why wouldn't you explain anything about it!!! Not even the slightest idea of what happened in it! I didn't even know it happened until that anon mentioned it! Uughhh why does Glip DO THIS ARRGHHHH

Have I told you that there are various religons in Floraverse during Art Pyramid?
- J-Anon
I don't remember hearing about them during the Art Pyramid, but they were a thing in the Althar RP. Synmet, Pengoists, and two other ones that were of no importance. No wait, one was Zweitruity which must have been Kuri's with the German name, and the other one was Payayan. Andre/Stolas is the Holy Mother of Synmet and that's the entirety of all we know about any of these belief systems. That's it. Nothing about what they worship, the structure in any of the churches, the rituals, the practices, the ethos, internal conflicts, belief structures, founding documents, mythology and lore, nothing. Absolutely nothing. Razca was an Archbishop after her dad died, but that's it. I think there might have been something about Zweis having some kind of issue with Angels but it sounded more like veiled talk about drama again. Supposedly the Althar RP dealt heavily with religion but I guess like everything else about the RP you'd have to be a member of the discord to know anything about any of it. Were those the same ones in the Art Pyramid or were there other ones that got tossed aside as well?

in regards to the previous ask about the art pyramid being stolen by arcus and stuff, I THINK that when Prob tells bruch "someone is in charge of arcus who is abusing it" (which is causing the confusion concerning arcus both having and NOT having the pyramid), maybe the "it" refers to ARCUS, and not the art pyramid? (i'm not a native english speaker, so i'm having trouble with the sequence of those sentences); i guess it would be weird for someone to abuse a whole city (or whatever arcus is), but at least it would clear that confusion, sorta? then again, floraverse seems to treat places like living things, so who knows at this point
i've been going through the discord server leak and there are so many instances of people referencing prompts and RPs that i don't think properly (or at all) made it to the public, and that also cannot be found on the leak for some reason (maybe the backup didn't go far enough, or maybe some channels could not be saved)... BUT, there was a point in floraverse history where andre either died or disappeared, which i think happened during circlet of the sun (the discord leaks mention a 25 hr WAR that seems to have been an important event that either coincided with or was somehow related to the world changes that happened in Circlet; maybe we see some of it in Seeds WAR is topside? it DOES show trebol under attack and it looks like the art pyramid was affected), and maybe that was when arcus stole the art pyramid?
and then, after that, the whole art pyramid event/RP thing happened, with the pyramid being sent to undertown, and then coming back, however to owel (its original place) rather than arcus, and then whatever it is that problemedic is talking about, of arcus wanting it back? (even though it's not theirs to begin with? if there's more than one pyramid, why are they so intent on getting THIS one? is it andre-related? it is andre-related, isn't it? because andre is/was/will be/who knows stolas, and also phesund and something something tal something something masked whoever and aaaaaaaaaaaahhh)
anyway, just my two cents... then again, maybe prob is talking about alternate universes (which... so many characters seem to be weirdly aware of?), so none of this matters and you can throw it all in the garbage :´)
That could be possible. 🤔 The Arcus city/province has time powers, so it could be that someone is abusing that. Arcus has generally been portrayed as the bad guy for a while though, so it'd be odd to have it be the victim of something. But who can say? Prob is bad at explaining things. :/ To be fair that seems to be a consistent character trait (what!) with her.
We know Andre died/whatever at some point but we never actually saw when it happened. I'd say that's a shame but it was probably boring lol. The 25 hour WAR hasn't shown up anywhere in the main comic, but I do notice that days in Arcus are 25 hours. Are days 25 hours everywhere? I don't think it's ever come up but it's entirely possible.
I assume Arcus wants to do some Nefarious Things with the pyramid because they're always up to no good for whatever reason. I don't know what they could do with it though. Andre described the pyramid as one of the most powerful resonating artifacts (thus why it was a bad idea to let the Principal inside it) but it's still unclear if there are two pyramids or what, or why any of this is happening, or how it connects to Cenastre, or ANYTHING AAAAA
It's definitely due to Kuri's influence, it can't not be. I do wonder what happened with Kuri ascending to the new favorite. Sunbe is up there too, but Pengo and Opa and w0z I think haven't shown up in a while. Did Kuri have anything to do with that, or was it all Glip? I assume it was Glip given their track record. Kuri seems like a normal enough person in public. You can't be sure about what goes on behind the scenes though, especially with Floraverse's history. All a nosey bystander can do is speculate.

the latest VN would've been a lot less underwhelming if it had more actual dialogue instead of symbols-talk... considering what we've seen from the "lost souls in cenastre" comic so far, i speculate problemedic and the librarian were symbols-talking about sending souls from i guess eastar and maybe owel to the new continent of cenastre, which i guess is a new frequency shift
anyway, closer to the beggining of the vn, there's a part where problemedic tells buchbrennerin or whatever it's called that arcus took andre's art pyramid, which i'm pretty sure was located on trebol
is that something that was shown anywhere in the comic and i just cant remember? when did arcus take the art pyramid?
problemedic does say that the art pyramid was not removed from owel "today" because a luneko showed up to "stabilize it", but the only event featuring a luneko showing up that i can recall is that crash landing game, where owel was "breaking down" or something? Problemedic also says "this has happened before" and "a form of andre was in the pyramid yet another time", so... is problemedic referencing crash landing? and did crash landing happen in a different frequency from the one from this new VN?
i'm so confused
SO MUCH of it is in symbols talk! I mean they're nice enough to look at but they convey basically nothing without a ton of background context the comic has no interest in giving you. With the new focus on Cenastre it does seem like the cast is going to shift there in one way or another, if we don't get a whole new one.
The talk of the Art Pyramid is very confusing. We never saw the Art Pyramid go anywhere in the comic. Actually I'm not sure we ever saw the Pyramid itself. From that summary by one of the RPers, the Pyramid ended up in Undertown at some point and then resurfaced again later, but we never saw any of that.
What's really confusing is that Prob says that Arcus is supposed to take the Art Pyramid today, but then like five seconds later says Arcus already has the Pyramid and someone's abusing it. Then they go back to saying the Pyramid ISN'T there because of Lunekos or whatever. Is it there or not!! At one point it was implied in Stolas: First Speech that there might be more than one Art Pyramid, and the one in Trebol Hellside was stolen, so I guess Arcus was behind that. Somehow.
The only Luneko incident is the Crash Landing game, you're right. I have no idea what Prob is talking about. Maybe the Art Pyramid got unstable in a frequency shift or something and a Luneko fixed it? I've got nothing. The form of Andre might refer to Phesund, since he hung out in the Art Pyramid a lot, but Prob calls the form a she and Phesund is a he. Not sure who they're talking about.

Wiedergeburt - Rebirth
Wiedergeburt - Rebirth by die Buchbrennerin, Problemedic, and the Librarian
Not too long until this one came out! I'm used to much longer pauses by this point. This one IS very short compared to the other VNs though, so that probably helped.
Large chunks of this one are in German (die Buchbrennerin/Quixate/Razca's player is German) which I don't speak, but I did ask some people who do what they thought. Buchbrennerin talks strangely - the formality in her speech varies wildly, from distant formal to informal (in a position of power) to formal to very conversationally unnatural responses that feel unsettling, back to informal and then ends on polite. So the tone is all over the place, which sounds about right.
We open on a new version of Kiwiface that looks even worse than the last one, and it's not like the last one was winning any awards.
my victreebell got into hallucinogens and it was NOT good
They're hanging out in a place that seems to have spider webs and Problemedic shows up. I know that's her new name but I always think of her as Toxinuate. Her design has undergone some minor changes over time, I guess to reflect her new Eastar version after the Frequency shift.
is there a spider here
Note the new symbol on her apron, I have no idea how to parse it. It could be a sigil but more on that in a second. Prob comes up to Buchbrennerin and asks her if she knows who she is. Buch says "Ein alter Assistent" and Prob realizes with some dismay that she doesn't speak German/Cenastrisch that well. Buch asks "Was bringt Sie hierher?" which Prob translates as "what brings me here".
Prob then surprisingly closes her mouth, which we haven't seen since the MS Paint era of complete scribbly nonsense.
where'd her other mouth go? don't worry about it
Way back in the day, Glip did an auto-bio comic using Tox as a stand-in for themselves (Victim Blaming), with Tox taking their place when Glip was young and their dad molested them. They went to their mom to tell her about it, and she told them to shut up and not tell anyone, essentially. Glip/Tox at the time was tortured by the desire to tell someone to make it stop, since their mom wasn't doing anything to help them, but also not wanting to hurt their family by talking. They wanted to scream, but couldn't, so Tox went from a closed-mouth bird to having an open screaming mouth all the time.
It's unclear if Prob is the exact same as Tox or if Glip still projects onto Prob the same way they used to, or if Prob is constantly screaming for the same reason Tox used to (if that was the reason... I don't know if Victim Blaming applied to Tox outside of that story). One element to this though that sticks out to me is that Tox's design is VERY close to a design of one of Pengo's characters at the time that I don't know the name of. On occasion Tox and PengoTox hung out and were implied to be in a relationship. Now that Pengo seems to be on the outs with Glip, Prob starts closing her mouth so she and PengoTox no longer look the same. I couldn't say for sure, but it doesn't feel like a coincidence to me.
Prob says she's trying to deliver some things to Arcus and asks if Buch can help her with that. Buch says "Warum? Sprich." and Prob says she doesn't remember what the first part of that means. Buch continues with "Bei Ihnen hat vieles nachgelassen." which Prob also can't follow. We get a glimpse of Buch's full body which has a ridiculous looking smiley face on the abdomen (?) as she adds "Arcus".
glad to meetcha! hachacha
Prob decides to just describe the situation. Buch says "Das stimmt." and Prob anxiously asks if its okay if she just lays out her concerns. Buch nods (nicken) and says "Ich stimme zu." so Prob starts talking.
Prob says that Arcus was supposed to take back the Art Pyramid today in a reset. She says the Pyramid was made for Andre, who had his name broken (by an angel) but it's been fixed enough for use now. Arcus had taken his Pyramid, and Prob nervously says that someone in Arcus is abusing it and Chisel wouldn't appreciate what's happening to her orrery, which I guess is stored in the Pyramid? Prob says she was trying to deliver an egg to the Pyramid (World egg? Andre egg?) but it's not "solidly" in Arcus, even though it's supposed to be. It was supposed to be removed from Owel today, but it wasn't because a Luneko showed up at the right time to stabilize it. She says it was "by chance" and then says it's hard to explain.
She says this has happened once before (a Luneko showing up to stabilize things) when a form of Andre was in the Pyramid and was about to leave to Althar. This form of Andre is referred to as "she" which is unusual. Maybe one of the fused Phesund forms like Phesomme or whatever? Anyway, Prob says those are the two stable points they have for showing that they have time before Arcus tries to reclaim the Pyramid again.
Prob says they can work out in theory what it would mean for Arcus to have the Pyramid again, then says they can put a lot of data into the Art Pyramid and put that in Arcus, which would restore a lot of Cenastre. At the mention of Cenastre, Buch perks up.
first we'll put out the eternal fires
Buch says "Cenastre. Ja. Es ist Zeit zurückzugeben." which Prob partially translates as "It's time... something?". Buch gestures at her, then herself, and says "Geben. Schenken. Unterstützen. Aufbauen. Helfen." Prob apologizes, saying she doesn't understand, but she does want to help, to which Buch goes "Ja. Helfen. Du, Cenastre." and Prob agrees she wants to help. Prob asks if she can come back later while she gets some charts ready. Buch says "Bitte schön." and Prob leaves.
We then cut to a place where the luminosity is WAY too high. Prob's standing with another Buch looking figure, this one with a TAL face and flower theming.
opening this up on your phone at night in bed, going blind
Prob and the Librarian have a conversation that's almost entirely in sigils. According to a friendly anon on Tumblr, sigils are a type of glyph writing Glip came up with. There are a lot of affinities in Floraverse (Pokemon types) that break down into different smaller subsets (Fire + Water = Steam) and each of those elemental things have a symbol and a color and an emotion (maybe a direction?) associated with them. To make a sigil, you connect symbols for that element with lines indicating... well I'm not sure, actually. The direction and placement and flow of the lines is really important to what it's supposed to be saying, but the only one who really knows for sure what a sigil means is the one who wrote it, which would be Glip. But then again hasn't Glip always been the only one who understands any of this?
A few pieces of the conversation are written normally, but the vast majority is in impenetrable glyphs. Prob mentions Cenastre and that everywhere else will do something, and the Librarian responds "Didn't you though? In the entire review," and then goes into more sigils. It's sigils all the way down. I don't really know how to describe these.
that one kind of looks like a little submarine
After a bunch more weird sigils, Prob says "A Dreamer... oh! That's so different!"
dreamer or yoshi's cookie, you decide
I guess somewhere in that weird symbol there's something that means Dreamer, but I have no idea where to begin to untangle it all. Even co-writers for Floraverse don't fully understand the elemental systems involved, according to a doc that an anon sent me written by one (Sunbe, I believe). I guess the lowly comic readers just have to go by vibes on this one.
Weird leafy kiwiface continues throwing sigils at you non-stop with no explanation, so have fun with them I guess. The luminosity on this continues to burn the eyes.
i project to you this cube
Eventually the Librarian makes a big orb and then a bunch of sigils appear on the side that look vaguely like circuit board patterns, and it gets overlaid with more patterns in different colors. I'm sure this must mean something to Glip but I'll be damned if it means something to anyone else. I even know what these squiggles are supposed to be and I just have no idea.
mixed up the layers in photoshop, ugh!
Anyway the VN just ends there. Glip mentions in the description that they've closed off one of their discord servers to minors (they did a weird scribbly comic about this with CC) but they left another one open for minors to join and probably get creeped on. There's now a third server that Kuri runs for Cenastre as Buchbrennerin, with two intros. One in English goes "Join Cenastre. Use head and eyes to proceed." and in German/Cenastrich "Trete Cenastre bei. Benutze dabei Kopf und Augen zum Fortfahren. Bei anderen ein Lachen hervorzubringen, ist immer vorteilhaft." which adds on a line about how having a sense of humor is helpful, by what Google Translate tells me. So there's that, I guess.
In a real shocking turn of events, after this VN Glip posted an actual comic page! Just a page instead of a VN! And says in the desc there'll be pages for a while. It's been so long since this happened I'm not entirely sure how best to deal with it. I guess I'll wait for a while for the pages to build up or when another VN drops and go from there.

I wanna point out how the species ref seemed not to be public on the website, nor is it connected. Either i'm looking too fast or there is hidden shit on the website just like the discord.
- J-Anon
I also noticed that! I don't remember ever seeing a pthalodragon mentioned anywhere outside of that sheet, although it is listed in the species section of the wiki on-site. It's interesting since at least two major characters are pthalodragons and it's just never mentioned, but then again, a lot of Flora designs just sort of run into each other, so does it really matter what exactly one furry thing or another is?
Haven't heard anything about anyone by that name which is remarkable for someone who was apparently playing such a huge role in an RP, much less one so incredibly close to Glip. When fused I wonder if Glip played the whole character and noodle just took a backseat, or did they take turns, or were there two different versions running around at the same time like a dual Phesomme/Mesund pair? I have no idea. It seems like Phesund spent most of the time fused with Pomme so I wonder how much Pomme/noodle actually did, if Glip was the one doing the RPing as the fused character...
Did go back and grab a shot from Q+E Solve Art Block of I think the only appearance of Pomme IN the comic. Still no idea what their deal is. That transformation sequence leading into this went Papaya/Glip, Pin, then whatever this new fusion is, just to confirm Phesund is a self-insert. Pomme being such a huge question mark while being so close to Glip is fascinating. I wonder how they managed that? Usually people next to Glip end up in all kinds of ridiculous drama, if they don't turn out to be creepers or thrown out in a fit of pique. How mysterious...

Deca's not being figurative when he says he's an alien.
AFAIK, there are two glip-original floraverse species that are said to be aliens. One's the lunekos. The other is the heartbreakers, which don't have a public species sheet yet. We have seen a heartbreaker in Q+E Change Storgo, who appears to be teaching about types of "merging of consciousness" ("suilege" and "suisomethingElse")
Heartbreakers were talked about in the Discord, I think during a small-ish event: Leon explains that they come from the same "imaginary moon" that Lunekos come from, but can be encountered in Mt. Veil. They have a "hood" that is important for "processing shapes" ("the motion of consciousness through the field of consciousness"). The thing they have in the middle of the "heart", if it gets broken, it causes the heartbreaker to lose its connection to the others. They work as a sort of hivemind.
I SUSPECT that Dr. Marrow, from A Favor (Itchy Itchy arc), is also a heartbreaker. Pengo's Decateronomy is a hybrid heartbreaker-pthalodragon, which is a fan-made species that can be found here (https://floraverse.com/wiki/species/pthalodragon/).
Pomme also appears in that species sheet. He (?) is a pthalodragon-labor rat hybrid, which I suppose explains why he (?) and Phesund were able to fuse and become Phesomme.
Also, concerning Deca's partial angel transformation, I think this also happens to Phesund in The World Egg. The Discord file mentions something called "angel parasitism" that glip explained not being very well defined in the story at the time, but could involve a partial transformation, that it was different from angel resonance, and it was also something that only happened in Eastar, so maybe that's what happened?
I have some other images that might be interesting, right here. Enjoy, I guess!

Oh wow, there hadn't been a single mention of Heartbreakers or them being aliens in the comic at all. When it said that Lunekos came from space and the Imaginary Moon I assumed it was just a cutesy silly thing since the Lunekos are just Glip's real cats, but I guess space actually is a thing??
I went and checked and Dr. Marrow is almost certainly one of these Heartbreaker things. I thought they were just another one of Glip's bizarre character designs, I had no idea they were an alien! I guess it's never been that relevant to the greater story, I guess. :/ That does mean they've been around for a surprisingly long time though.
In Deca's character sheet it looks like the heart bulb thing is missing, so I guess his connection to the hivemind is broken? It's bizarre to keep hearing talk of Leon doing things when we saw one glimpse of them and then never heard from them again in the main comic. What were they doing this whole time? Normal comic readers just not invited to the COOL parties.
Pthalodragons look like Falcor from The Neverending Story but it's a cute idea. The Pokemon roots of Floraverse always feel so blatant and awkward in species sheets when they talk about Abilities or Aspects, like being inflicted with Dry Paint or using their Special Ability, Collage. What's the EV spread on Phesund. Is Stolas OU or NU
I do think this is the only shot I've ever seen of Pomme in their natural form. I can see elements of this design in all the Phesund off-shoots though. Who IS Pomme, all this focus on them and we still don't know anything about them. I guess it follows that even when Glip merges with another character, they spend all that time talking about themselves. (Was Pomme played by someone else even or was it all Glips all the way down?)
In terms of the World Egg, there was that odd sequence where what looked like angel versions of Phesund and Deca were talking, although I'm not sure that's what those were. Maybe that's the parasitism?
The three of them together like this really highlights the family resemblance. I really wonder now if Lily is Jupet's bio-mom or not. I have no idea what Lily would see in Sylvan in the first place, and Jupet DOES always call her Lily, as opposed to calling Sylvan Papa. Strange. If that's the case, then I wonder who Shizu and Jupet's bio-moms are?

Ah damn, thanks for at least answering anon. I hope you still have some interesting this left over.
In other news, I have now obtained info on Pengo's characters (River, Nuez, and Deca) on their ArtFight page. I also included refs of Nuez and Deca that might peak your interest.
Nuez: https://justpaste.it/gzsd7
Deca: https://justpaste.it/ildzf
River: https://justpaste.it/9plj2
The refs: https://postimg.cc/gallery/G1gXfKS

Pengo's style of describing his characters is completely different than Glip's, that's interesting. I expected them to be a lot more wordy. Nuez is described as being extremely harsh and intense, which is strange since I don't remember any of that in the comic. Nuez mostly seemed fairly chill.
Deca's mentions that he's an alien and I don't know if that's literally or figuratively. The real key thing here is a solid and simple description of an angel!
"[...] he became part Angel (which in-world are creatures that represent emotional patterns)".
This doesn't match at all with what angels used to be at the beginning of the comic, and raises a lot of questions about the current frequency. Angels are patterns of emotions, but also seem to be characters in their own right? This could explain why there seem to be more than one of an angel at times or why people can change back and forth between them or get possessed by them. Demons trying to kill them all is strange though, although my guess is that the emotional patterns are dangerous and therefore they went to eradicate them? Pengo could also be over-simplifying for other participants in the Art Fight.
River sounds the most like a Pengo self-insert. It matches up with the the sensitivity that shows up in the discord where people can misinterpret and gang up on you for the most minor of infractions and everything is taken extremely personally. The examples of River misunderstanding things sound just like things that could have happened on the Discord with Pengo and the others, and it sounds like he was a nightmare to RP with since he was so sensitive to everything. Clement apparently goes by she though.
I think this is the only glimpse of Deca's lower body I've ever seen. I notice that even with trying to explain his face on the character sheet it's difficult to parse.
Deca's part-angel form has a lot of book-like aspects to it, which makes me think of that long-winded book angel we saw a few times. If that represents Pengo/Deca, then that adds a weird undertone to a lot of it: for example, when the Principal was yelling at the book about it making a student feel like it'd touch and violate her body. Was Deca being a creeper, or was Pengo? It does seem like that VN happened after Pengo got the boot from Glip's inner circle, although I don't think it was for being a creeper. Pengo never struck me as one, but I don't know what happened there for sure.

bad news folks, i did find the original discord leak but all the images are missing; from my understanding, images are pulled from discord's servers and are not part of the leaked files, so they probably have an expiration date... unfortunate
i DO have some images which were commissions glip did where the theme was papaya being mean to the commissioner's character, if anyone's interested. I can't remember if they were posted on the server or glip's patreon. lmk if anyone would like to see them, but be warned that they vary from being unpleasant to look at to nsfw (and i don't think they contribute anything to understanding the lore of flora)
also, to the anon who was wondering about the art pyramid logs, i did find a brief retelling of the events by a former player, from their character's pov, posted to SSA. since they deactivated their blog, i assume they don't want their identity revealed, so here's an even more condensed summary:
https://justpaste.it/ievrc
I think I remember those images! It did have the different versions of Papaya split up depending on what you wanted her to do to your character, which could offer a bit of insight into what differentiates the Papayas, but other than that I don't remember any lore stuff, that's true. I'll throw it out there though if someone wants to express interest.
This summary is helpful! Particularly given the most recent update, I'll have to refer back to it when I write it up. Veritea I remember being mentioned in the Tao Tower logs along with Cancel Vulture and some more extremely stupid names, although to be honest I haven't made much headway on those logs. They're just so dull...
LOTS of sigils in the recent update that I didn't even try to untangle in my first read. I'll have to go over them in more detail when I write it up. Maybe.
About what I expected, big fat fetish dragon. Sort of looks like someone's been taking chomps out of them.
Some interesting insight on both of them, although I wonder if we'll ever see them again. A lot of worldbuilding backstory too. Stolas' in particular talks about how Althar is a Hellside colony and how Andre fueled the power of the Commanders in Hellside to kill angels. Phesund's talks about the art pyramid and his strained relationship with Nuez, which seems like a mirror of Glip's strained relationship with Pengo to me. Phesund also seems to mirror Glip a lot in general, in particular talking about shedding elitist attitudes to try and show compassion and care for others. Glip talks about this constantly even though they haven't really shown much care for anyone.
Pomme gets mentioned a lot as Phesund's best friend and we know Pomme and Phesund fused constantly but we still know basically nothing about who Pomme is or what they're like. I don't know if we've ever seen Pomme in their natural form or heard anything from them. For someone so important to Phesund and the story they seem almost non-existent.
