Desirdae flag template ( PSD )

This is a 5000 x 3000 px template of the Desirdae flag format, you can download it at the link in the post source ( down at the very bottom of the post. ) I do NOT recommend using the preview image above for editing, it's been compressed !!

I made this because the previous flag template was a series of separate images at 2048 x 1229 px each and having it all together from the get-go makes requests faster for me! It also brings up the image quality / size to general wiki standards for flags.

I also made a .SVG version + separate .PSD template of the symbol ( which you can find here ) and split it into parts / colors in the template for addition ease of use ( and so it's easier to apply layer effects to different parts of the symbol, if you enjoy using those! )

I don't claim to have made this flag, the symbol, the term, or anything else. This is a simple coining resource!

Made for part of my Desirdae flag PSD template, the Desirdae symbol by made into a PSD template of it's own + a SVG file so it can be exported at any size without loss of image quality! You can download both from the link in the post source ( down at the very bottom of the post. )

The .PSD template has each outline and color on it's own layer for ease of editing + coloring + layer effect application. ( I would recommend downloading and editing that instead of the preview image here. )

The .SVG is the plain black symbol. The universe symbol in the middle was made by jojooid on Flaticon, the attribution link can be also be found at the post source since tumblr doesn't like SVGur external links...

Galsensus/Gyarusensus

SLASHERVAL: a neogender umbrella term that can be used as a gender in itself, an identity system, or in connection with other genders. it connects to classic 80s slasher movies and enjoyment of them, fake gore, knives and machetes, and horror dvds

hey!!! are you a slasherval person who identifies with the presentation terms, but doesn’t know where to start? I’ve made a pinterest board to visualise what I had in mind when I made these terms!

this is by no means set in stone, more of a rough guide! slasherval presentations are also in part based on personality and you can identify with more than one presentation. SLASHERVAL PRESENTATIONS: presentation labels like bear, butch, etc, but for slasherval/myersic individuals. instead of being based on masc/fem qualities or body type, it is based on style and personality, and the slasher archetypes

SLASHER: a slasherval person who presents in an edgier fashion, potentially with punk/metal influences. spikes, studs, sleeveless denim, darker colours, band and horror movie tees. might come across as aggressive, hostile and intimidating to people they do not know but is not when you get to know them

FIRST VICTIM: a slasherval person who presents themselves in a fashionable way, with nods to 90s and early 2000s styles. typically wears the brightest clothing and enjoys patterns/animal print. they may be perceived as catty, but are true ride-or-dies, fun and outgoing

FINAL PERSON: a slasherval person who presents themselves in a more casual way. can still be stylish, with more nods to 80s fashion, and can have any combination of dark, neutral or colourful shades. they are usually more laid back, rational and have problem solving skills, but can be seen as more quiet, observers

HARBINGER: between a slasher and a first victim — (can have) an eclectic, DIY style and eclectic personality. can be perceived as weird and offputting and relish in their strangeness

SKEPTIC: between a first victim and a final person — (can have) a more casual style than a victim but more stylish than the average final person. typically outgoing and very unashamedly vocal of their opinions

NERD: between a slasher and a final person — (can have) a casual, sometimes academic leaning, style, but often featuring horror merch and a touch of edge. often has a wealth of horror trivia at their disposal and useful in a pinch
