Can you create a CC related to the Day of the Dead (Día de Los Muertos)? It is a Mexican holiday that celebrates on November 2 is like Halloween but with skulls and also Catrinas festival and pay homage to the dead in the evenings. I say that because in The Sims 2 there is no CC about The Day of the Dead and you can create it?

Hi! (publishing it in case anyone else is interested) There’s actually a fair amount of Day of the Dead cc out there! For example, you can find some on this pinterest board, also Shasta shared some stuff a few days ago. And we, with my cc buddy, MDP, made some clothes last year. Personally, I’m not very familiar with this celebration, so I’m not interested in making cc related to it (and if I did I would only be able to release in late November, which wouldn’t make any sense anyway) :)

Nobody likes to see irl problems on a sims blog, but I just… NEED somewhere to put this.

I had to make an unexpected move to a city I’m completely unfamiliar with. I’m living with a family member other than my parents, and work doing cleaning for them. I need to save up enough for an apartment before March, or I have no idea what will happen. I just don’t want to go back to where I was before, and I guess my only other option would be the street.

I do have a job. At the moment, two, though that one is on its last week as I have no license (was supposed to get it today, traffic made me reschedule), and don’t have more than 7 dollars at the moment for gas money to get to my old town.

My girlfriend, who has been giving me rides in exchange for gas, which I can no longer afford, has been sick and unable to work for weeks. I have no other friends or family members who are willing or able to help me, and it’s a miracle I was even able to get my bed to where I am now, as the move caused a rift between my parents and the family helping me, and so they won’t go back there to help me get my furniture. I still owe my parents money each month for my phone bill; everything else I own, is owned and paid for by me, including groceries and the device I use for digital art commissions.

The icing on the cake is that, around this time of year through the Christmas holiday, my PTSD flares up something terrible. Sexual abuse at the hands of somebody I trusted, close to every major holiday and exactly on Christmas day, enough said. Of course, my doctor, and my therapist, are back in the town I have hardly any way to get to.

I’ve opened commissions on my art blog and Deviantart in an attempt to make as much side money as I can. I force myself to write even when I have no motivation in the vain hope someday my book will be good enough to release.

I’m not going to beg for tips, but I am going to shamelessly advertise. I’m Sadoalice on Deviantart, too. I have a ko-fi and a paypal. I take art commissions for nearly anything, and I can negotiate prices, especially considering the emergency conditions.

I have never charged for my CC, and I never will. That said, if you want to donate to me, anything at all, you’re entitled to request something from me. I can do clothes meshing and recolors, texture swaps, simple object recolors, builds and hair recolors. This will, naturally, be released for free on my blog, with credit to you for your kindness, should you want it released. Nobody is by any means obligated to donate in order to get a request, or for any content, ever. Nobody is obligated to request anything, if they just want to donate. I would just feel guilty asking for help if I didn’t have at least SOMETHING to offer, in my case, art or CC.

If you wish, please spread this around. Anything helps. I’m trying not to show how scared of the future I am, but it’s not working.

Look! I’ve made a chart of the weekly income based on career level for all careers! Well, at least I hope so. All the data I used is from the Wiki, so if those values are wrong, so is this chart. Keep in mind that this doesn’t show hourly wages in any way, not even daily wages. 
I’m kind of surprised by some of these results, especially for the top level. I expected Medicine and Politics to be paying way more, and I had no idea Intelligence was paying so much. Overall, it seems like Base Game careers are way underpaid…

Circus Envy 3.0 Skinblend

Hello everyone!

So here’s my third version of Circus Envy Skinblend (yes, all my skinblends will have this name ;) ). It was supposed to be something in between of previous two versions, but came out kinda different.

Basically it’s a mix of these skins by Engram (colours, face/body details),  these by Lilith (noses, lips, body details) and these also by Lilith (eyelids, base).

Supernaturals were created using features from skinblends made by Engram, Lilith and Astiees.

Call it an ‘early followers gift’!

Small(ish) terrain with a highland (on the cliff) and a lowland; there is also a small island which can either be left isolate, or connected with a bridge (one shown is part of the Road Bridges Set by Criquette).

The mainland starts at the end of the map (to make it seem like part of a larger map), and you will need a camera mod to see and decorate it!

Now that my computer is finally back in action, I have finally completed my tutorial pet custom content for the public! This download includes the long awaited for crescent forehead marking that works for both cats and dogs, that was absolutely inspired by Sailor Moon.

I also included the solid skunk stripe for cats, and four hairless cat coats. The hairless coat colors are bare, black, white, and orange. They can be used as is, but they can also be layered with other coat colors at different opacity’s to create a much wider variety of color options or just to add a touch of fur texture. I found that using smooth or furry coats looked best in this case. These hairless coats are also 100% handpainted by me, as the Sims 4 extracted Sphynx coat was way too subtle for my liking. I spent many long days trying to make the wrinkles line up as perfectly as possible, so I hope those waiting for their hairless feline babies will like these!

That’s not all I have for you either! See, I noticed long ago that Maxis made a strange mistake with the Speckles marking for Shaggy dogs. It has a very obvious texture difference between the body and the head:

This really bothered me, so I fixed it. Just in case anyone else felt bothered as well, then here’s the quick fix I made for it.
