Update(s)!

Three new docs went live last week! I'm happy to be back to making templates, and already have a few ideas in mind for some new ones, so keep an eye out!

My Ko-Fi now (finally) accepts Stripe payments! It only took months of back-and-forth with their customer support to fix whatever issue my account had, but now everything is good and connected!

With Stripe & PayPal now available, I'm going to be accepting commissions soon! I've been working on an info sheet for that, and a form to be filled out, and I'm super nervous excited to offer personalized templates and docs. Hopefully by the end of this week, I'll have the commission info live and up!

I've added a Ko-Fi/Templates section to my Discord server for anyone who needs help with any of the templates, has questions about anything, would even like help creating their own, sharing ideas/feedback, or even just wants to find a new community to spend time with! 012. taromancy | (download now)

"Taromancy" is a tarot card themed Google Docs template for Writing/Roleplay use, with an emphasis on imagery but adequate writing space. While created initially for a single-character, it can be adapted for multiple characters, and lore or world-building!

INCLUDED This is a single-character template with 5 Medium (8.27"x11.69") Landscape-Format pages. The colour palette is semi-customizable. There is a total of 16 replaceable images.

Backstory/History (Past, Present, Future).

Personality/Appearance (Mind, Body, Spirit).

"Drywall" is a soft-romantic watercolour aesthetic Google Docs template for Writing/Roleplay use, with an emphasis on imagery and using quote/lyrics, but with adequate writing space. It includes a Navigation menu and a space on each page for a quote or lyric. This template has very detailed instructions included to help customize it fully.

INCLUDED This is a single-character template with 6 Large (8.5"x13") Landscape-Format pages. It includes a Navigation menu in the bottom right. There is a total of 18 replaceable images.

"Editorial" is a mock-up magazine article Google Docs template for Writing/Roleplay use. Use the entire doc to create a tell-all interview with your character(s) or write a thought-piece about your world-building! You'll find a Q+A section and several little details you'd see in a magazine! This template has detailed instructions included to help customize it fully.

Hello, lovelies! Have I got an update for you.

I know it's been over a year since I've shared any new templates, and I'm excited to let you know I have 3 on the way very soon, including a Tarot inspired doc that I am just vibrating with joy to share with everyone!

Here's the Thing™️ though. This past week I was admitted to the hospital for a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot — in my case a Very Large one — in the lungs). Thankfully, my prognosis is hopeful, and I'm being released today as an out-patient. Not-so-thankfully, this comes with some very expensive prescriptions and equipment that I'll need for the next 6 months — it's $600 just to get me out the door today, for one thing.

I'm unemployed right now, and my Ko-Fi is one of the few ways of making any extra income, so I wanted to just signal-boost a little bit and remind everyone that all my doc templates are pay-what-you-can. I won't be adding prices onto the already free docs, like First Draft, but it does sting a little to know that even with over 700 downloads of First Draft alone, I've only ever earned about $30 from that doc in 2 years.

This post is getting long, but I also wanted to add that I also have two poetry chapbooks available on my Ko-Fi as well that I released back in September. If you like werewolves, cannibalism-as-a-metaphor, or liminal spaces, you might enjoy them!

Thank you so much for your support, I'm so glad to see these docs appreciated and used. I wholly understand that lots of people will not be able to purchase docs or donate, so the next best thing would be if you could just reblog this post and help it spread, thank you so much!

The passive aggressive, gloating behaviour is just absolutely atrocious.

Please remember to lock your docs. It doesn't just protect the creators of the templates, it can prevent people from copying and stealing your writing and character information (locking a doc disables the ability to select and copy/paste anything written in the doc).

DOC THIEF

I hate to have to put someone on blast but I have to ask if you see this individual on Discord, that you don't allow them to use this stolen copy of my doc. Here are the screenshots:

This is where I found them redistributing and had that post deleted but if you see this copy of Murcott anywhere else, please don't allow this person to use it. They posted it for others to make copies off of their stolen copy. Murcott is my most stolen doc, if you have purchased it or any of my docs, please, please remember to follow to steps to make it so someone can't copy yours.

To prevent people from making copies of your docs - select the blue SHARE button in the top right corner of your doc - hit the settings gear on the right corner of the pop-up - UNCHECK the box that says "Viewers and commenters can see the option to download, print, and copy"

Please like and reblog so that people are aware that stolen docs are going around and people are purposely posting them. I don't want to share their full Discord id but I have made a copy of their ID number and I have their email address which looks like it is this individual's full name. I'm currently not employed for personal reasons and this is my only source of income at this time. These actions harm me greatly and all I ask for is respect. Please be aware that doc creators aren't some giant corporation, we are just people. Please be kind.

PLEASE DO YOUR PART BY ALWAYS TURNING OFF COPIES! And if you see someone using a stolen doc, please tell me. I'm very thankful one of my followers made me aware of this individual. Thank you so much to them!

AESTHETIC.exe has been updated and is live again for purchase! Truthfully, very little had to be edited, thankfully, but I did what I could to make the template easier to navigate while customizing, as well as adding/editing the 'instructions' page included at the bottom of the doc.

I think, to date, this is still my favourite template I've ever made, so I hope you all enjoy it!

throneBREAKER has had a MASSIVE update! The tables have been 'stabilized' so that they're not as prone to shifting everything, but the template is still sensitive to writing space, so keep an eye on that! The format has also been changed from Letter (8.5"x11") to Folio (8.5"x13") to increase space, and there's now a detailed page at the end to help with customizing! Thank you for your patience while I updated these older templates!

You should see me in a crown... throneBREAKER is a dark, minimalist template inspired by the song "you should see me in a crown" by billie eilish. This is a minimalist mood/aesthetic template. If you have some know-how, this is a fairly easy colour palette to customize (live customized example) but there is an Instructions page included for other help editing the pages.

a quick update!

i'm sorry i haven't been able to put out any new templates or finish updating the ones i was working on ♥ i've been dealing with some serious medical issues since november, but life seems to be getting itself back on track and i have the time and energy to go back to creating new gdoc templates! my goal is to have throneBREAKER and [ a e s t h e t i c ] updated and out again by february.

i may also begin opening commissions in the near future (still a couple months out) if that's something people are interested in! until then, i'd love to know if there's anything you'd like to see in new templates.

For the stars: These are simply two different symbols (a filled star ★ and an outlined star ☆), so you'll just need to copy/paste which ones you want to change. You could also change them to whatever two symbols you wanted by going into Insert > Special Characters, and then choosing anything that suits you!

For the progress bar: If you hover your cursor over the line of the progress bar, you'll see your cursor change to something that looks similar to "←||→". Click, hold, and drag to adjust the bar to the length you want! If you drag it too far in either direction and the table accidentally shifts, just CTRL+Z and try again!

With a résumé-esque feel to it, businessRIVAL is a clean-cut way to guarantee your character leaves an impact. This template has been heavily updated from it's previous version. Now that I've learned quite a few things, there are many more features to this template that make it more user-friendly and easier to navigate and read.

There are a total of 25 replaceable images in this template. In the doc itself, the images have been replaced with placeholders with the dimensions written on them so that you can create your own.
